The Road Safety Patrol (RSP) Awareness Program was successfully organized by our Gcc Community College Interact Club on 11th December with the aim of educating students on the importance of road safety and developing responsible road user behaviour. The program began with a welcome address, followed by an introduction to the objectives and activities of the RSP unit.

Mr. Vivek Dhanda and Mr. Anjan Kumar trained RSP coordinators conducted the session. They explained key road safety rules such as obeying traffic signals, wearing helmets and seatbelts, avoiding mobile phone use while walking or driving, and the importance of using pedestrian crossings. The speakers highlighted common causes of road accidents and demonstrated preventive measures through videos, and practical examples.

Students were briefed on the roles and responsibilities of RSP members, including monitoring traffic near school zones, assisting during school dispersal time, and spreading safety awareness among peers.

A special demonstration on basic traffic signals and hand-signals used by RSP volunteers was conducted. Students were encouraged to participate in creating a safe environment by following traffic rules and motivating others to do the same.

The program concluded with a pledge by students to practice safe road habits and actively contribute to reducing accidents in their community. Overall, the RSP Awareness Program proved to be highly informative, engaging, and beneficial in instilling a sense of responsibility and discipline among students.

On the morning of June 19th, 2025, something beautiful unfolded at Government Higher Secondary School, Kandigai.

As part of the ATOS Infra Project outreach for four schools, a vibrant and heartfelt employee volunteering program was conducted by Atos Prayas Foundation in partnership with Rotary Club of Madras East (RCME).

What began as a simple initiative became a powerful reminder of what collaboration, community, and compassion can achieve.

Guided by PP Rtn. Srinivasa Rao and joined by President Rtn. Muthu & Rtn. Basker Natarajan, the day was filled with purpose and play.

Students dived into tree planting (with NGO -Care and Comfort), added colour through wall art (by RL Consortium), stretched and smiled in yoga & fitness sessions led by Anns Sudha Raghu & Haritha, and were enchanted by storytelling from Ms. Vishnu Priya.

The joy on their faces said it all — a heartwarming and fulfilling outreach!
