15-Day Summer Theatre Workshop Concludes Successfully with Powerful Street Plays on Social Issues

Muzaffarnagar, June 29: The 15-day Summer Theatre Workshop, organized by the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi, Lucknow (Department of Culture, Government of Uttar Pradesh) under the joint aegis of Mansi Abhinay Gurukul, Saharanpur, with the support of Humanity Welfare Society, Muzaffarnagar, concluded successfully with a grand closing ceremony.

Under the expert guidance of renowned theatre trainer Yogesh Panwar, the young participants presented impactful street plays on themes such as Drug De-addiction, "Cleanliness is My Duty," Social Responsibility, and Public Awareness. Through powerful performances, meaningful dialogues, and expressive acting, the children delivered inspiring messages promoting social responsibility and positive change. Their performances received warm appreciation from the audience.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Mohd Shahvez, Secretary of Humanity Welfare Society, said that the Society remains committed to promoting art, culture, education, and social awareness. He added that such initiatives provide children with a platform to develop confidence, creativity, communication skills, and a sense of social responsibility.

Ms. Sabra, Member of Humanity Welfare Society, congratulated the participants for their outstanding performances and appreciated their dedication throughout the 15-day training programme. She also thanked the parents for encouraging their children to participate in cultural activities.

Mr. Arif Thanvi, Media Incharge, and Mr. Faizurrahman emphasized that street theatre is one of the most effective tools for spreading awareness on important social issues and inspiring people towards positive social change.

The programme was graced by distinguished guests including Advocate Manawar Hasan, Mr. Ausaf Ahmed Ansari, Master Shehzad Asif, and Mr. Shanu Siddique, the well-known YouTuber from Saharanpur, who attended as a special guest. The guests highly appreciated the performances and praised the efforts of trainer Yogesh Panwar and the organizing institutions for nurturing young talent through theatre. Mr. Shanu Siddique remarked that theatre is a powerful medium to educate society and motivate the younger generation to become responsible citizens.

At the end of the programme, certificates of participation were distributed to all participants in recognition of their successful completion of the workshop. Yogesh Panwar was also felicitated for his dedicated contribution as the workshop trainer.

The organizers expressed their sincere gratitude to the Uttar Pradesh Sangeet Natak Akademi, Mansi Abhinay Gurukul, all distinguished guests, parents, media representatives, and supporters for making the workshop a grand success. Condolence Meeting and Tribute Program Held in Memory of Prof. Jagdish Prasad Savita
Muzaffarnagar, June 11, 2026: Humanity Welfare Society organized a Condolence Meeting and Tribute Program at its Branch Office, First Floor, Shaheed Chowk, Muzaffarnagar, in memory of its Patron, the late Prof. Jagdish Prasad Savita, a distinguished educationist and renowned social worker. Members of various social, literary, and educational organizations, along with eminent citizens, gathered to pay their heartfelt tributes to the departed soul.
The program was attended by Abdul Haq Sehar (Qamar Adabi Society), Asad Farooqui (Prayatna Sanstha & Urdu Development Organization), Master Shahzad (Urdu Bedari Forum), Ausaf Ahmed Ansari (Urdu Bedari Forum), Qamar Intikhab (ActionAid Association), Parvez Advocate (Humanity Welfare Society), and Maulana Iftikhar.
The meeting was presided over by Dr. Zaidi, who, in his presidential address, said, “Prof. Jagdish Prasad Savita was a true symbol of education, social commitment, and humanitarian values. His life was dedicated to the service of society, and his contributions will continue to inspire future generations.”
Abdul Haq Sehar stated, “Prof. Savita’s contributions to education and social welfare can never be forgotten. His simplicity, humility, and dedication to society were exemplary.”
Asad Farooqui remarked, “Such personalities are invaluable assets to society. He consistently worked for social harmony, educational development, and the promotion of human values.”
Master Shahzad said, “Prof. Savita’s life serves as an inspiration for young people. He continuously worked for the upliftment of underprivileged and marginalized sections of society.”
Ausaf Ahmed Ansari paid tribute by saying, “His foresight, social commitment, and humanitarian vision set an example for all. His thoughts and ideals will continue to guide society for years to come.”
Qamar Intikhab observed, “His contributions to social service will always be remembered, and carrying forward his ideals will be the true tribute to his memory.”
Parvez Advocate stated, “Humanity Welfare Society has always drawn strength and direction from his guidance. His demise is an irreparable loss to society.”
The Society’s Secretary, Mohammad Shahvez, said, “Prof. Savita’s patronage and guidance have always been a source of inspiration for the organization. The Society will continue to advance its welfare and humanitarian initiatives by following the path shown by him.”
Society member Faiz-ur-Rahman expressed his views, saying, “Prof. Savita was not only an educationist but also a true servant of humanity. His life inspires us to understand and fulfill our responsibilities toward society.”
Society member Faisal Saifi said, “Prof. Jagdish Prasad Savita’s life was a remarkable example of service, education, and human values. He worked to bring all sections of society together and promoted positive change through education. His ideals and vision will continue to guide us.”
The program was attended by Treasurer Shah Alam, Society members Faiz-ur-Rahman, Faisal Saifi, Nadeem Hussain, Sabra Ji, and Nusrat Kamal, along with several distinguished citizens. Prof. Savita's wisdom, guidance, and unwavering commitment to social welfare and education have been a constant source of inspiration for all of us. His valuable contributions and dedicated support played a significant role in strengthening the mission and vision of our organization.

His passing is an irreparable loss to the Humanity Welfare Society family and to everyone whose lives he touched through his knowledge, kindness, and service.

Humanity Welfare Society, Uttar Pradesh successfully organized the “GARIMA – Women’s Health, Hygiene & Dignity Campaign” at Madarsa Idaratus Sawlehat, Kareem Nagar, Muzaffarnagar. The campaign aimed to spread awareness among women and adolescent girls about health, hygiene, and dignified living.
The programme was conducted with the major support and active participation of District Women Hospital, Muzaffarnagar, which played a leading role in making the awareness campaign successful and impactful.
The event was graced by Dr. Abha Atray, CMS, District Women Hospital, as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering, she highlighted the importance of women’s health, menstrual hygiene awareness, and regular health check-ups. She emphasized that awareness and proper guidance are essential for building a healthier and more confident society.
Saba Rani (HD Manager) and Aruna (Counsellor from District Women Hospital) also interacted with the participants and shared valuable information regarding women’s wellness, hygiene, and counseling support services available for women and adolescent girls.
Representing Humanity Welfare Society, Smt. Sabra actively participated in the event and shared the organization’s vision of empowering women through awareness, education, and community support.
An interactive question-answer session was also conducted during the programme where students enthusiastically asked questions related to menstrual hygiene, women’s health, and wellness. A grand and impactful Earth Day program was successfully organized at Najibudullah Girls Inter College, Najibabad (Bijnor, U.P.) by Humanity Welfare Society, with financial support from the Ministry of Earth Sciences, Government of India.

✨ The event, based on the theme “Our Power, Our Planet”, aimed to promote environmental awareness and inspire youth towards sustainable development.

One of the most powerful moments of the event was the collective Earth Day Pledge, where students united their voices to commit towards protecting the environment:

📢 POSH Training Successfully Conducted in Muzaffarnagar
Humanity Welfare Society, Uttar Pradesh successfully organized a POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) Training Programme on 17 February 2026 at the Society Working Office, Muzaffarnagar, in collaboration with the Department of Women Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
The session was conducted by Mrs. Aasha Jain (Chairperson, POSH Local Committee – Probation Office) and Mrs. Hemlata (Member), who shared detailed knowledge about the POSH Act, workplace rights, and safety mechanisms.
A total of 30 participants, including both women and men, actively took part in the training and engaged in meaningful discussions.
From Humanity Welfare Society, Smt. Sabra and Mr. Mohd Shahvez also provided comprehensive insights on POSH awareness and its implementation at the community level.

We are proud to share that a grand Hand Embroidery Exhibition was successfully organized today, showcasing the beautiful creations of students who completed a structured 75-hour Skill Development Training Programme conducted by Humanity Welfare Society.
This entire initiative was carried out under the able guidance of Dr. Manish Agarwal, Principal of the college. Special coordination and support were provided by Dr. Neeraj Kumar (Skill Incharge) and Dr. Pooja Kaushik (Course Incharge).
From Humanity Welfare Society, the programme was supervised by Mohd. Shahvez (Incharge), and the practical embroidery training was skillfully imparted by Smt. Sabra (Trainer).
🗓️ The training was conducted from July to December, where students received hands-on learning in traditional and modern hand embroidery techniques.
🪡 The exhibition displayed exclusively the handcrafted items made by these trained students — including embroidered suits, dupattas, sarees, cushion covers, wall hangings, and decorative pieces.
Principal Dr. Manish Agarwal appreciated the initiative and emphasized the importance of integrating vocational skills into higher education to promote self-reliance and entrepreneurship among young women.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, faculty members, and community members — making it a proud moment of skill development and women empowerment for the Saharanpur region.

Taking a significant step toward promoting women’s health, hygiene, and dignity, the “GARIMA – Women’s Health, Hygiene & Dignity Campaign” was successfully organized at Government Girls Inter College, Kandhala.
The programme was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Women Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh (District Shamli) and Humanity Welfare Society, Uttar Pradesh. The campaign aimed to empower adolescent girls with correct knowledge, break social taboos around menstrual health, and promote safe hygiene practices to build a healthier and more confident generation.

He emphasized that the well-being, education, and dignity of girls are directly connected to the development of society and the nation.
