The program aimed to highlight the rural culture, folk traditions, and social concerns of Western Uttar Pradesh while creating a meaningful dialogue between rural life and modern development. Inspired by the traditional concept of the Gram Chaupal, the event revived the spirit of collective discussion and participatory democracy rooted in Indian villages.
Farmers, villagers, social workers, and enlightened citizens actively participated and shared their real-life experiences and perspectives, making the dialogue practical, impactful, and connected to grassroots realities.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Rishipal Singh emphasized that the Gram Chaupal has always been the soul of Indiaโs democratic tradition, where dialogue leads to solutions. He encouraged students and youth to remain connected to their cultural roots while contributing to social progress.
The program organizer, Dr. Abhilash Kumar, Assistant Professor (Political Science), highlighted the vision and objectives of the initiative, stating that platforms like Gram Chaupal play a vital role in understanding rural issues and working collectively toward sustainable solutions.
From Humanity Welfare Society, Mrs. Neelam Bhatnagar and Mr. Ziaul Haq shared insightful views on social awareness, public participation, and rural development, emphasizing the importance of dialogue, cooperation, and cultural pride.
The program was further enriched by beautiful cultural performances presented by college students, including folk dances and folk songs based on rural traditions, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
