Today, English Elocution Competition was conducted at Convent of Jesus and Mary, Waverley Mussoorie for Group 1 (Classes I & II) and Group 2 (Classes III & IV).
The young participants beautifully recited their poems with clarity, confidence, expressions, and wonderful rendition skills. The poems presented included I Opened a Book, Habits Are Sticky Things, Wishing for a Fish, My Family Portrait, Geography Lesson, All My Great Excuses, Questions, The Silly Little Cat, The Tiny Pirate Ship, Mr Nobody , Kinds Hands , The Little Rainbow Garden and many more.
The poems were filled with humour, love, imagination, curiosity, and meaningful messages, making the event lively and enjoyable for everyone present.
The group poems were equally impressive, showcasing excellent coordination, expressions, enthusiasm, and teamwork.
The competition was judged by the English faculty members of our own school.
Such competitions provide children with a wonderful platform to express themselves, improve their communication skills, and build confidence from an early age.

Convent of Jesus and Mary, Waverley was buzzing with vibrant energy today as our talented little artists from Classes I to IV took part in an exciting Art Competition!
From splashes of watercolor to bold crayon strokes, the creativity on display was absolutely magical. Here is a glimpse of what our young visionaries brought to life:
Classes I & II: Dazzled us with their dreamy "Rainbow Gardens" and sun-soaked "Beach Days." 🌈🏖️
Classes III & IV: Brought pure joy to the canvas with "My Favorite Cartoon" characters and cozy, playful "Rainy Day Fun" scenes. 🌧️🧸
Every single canvas told a unique story, proving that creativity has no limits at Waverley. A huge shoutout to all our budding Picassos for making today so colorful and inspiring!

Today, May 15, 2026, Mini Fete 2026 (fair) was organized at CJM Waverley Mussoorie. The fete was inaugurated by Father Anto Basil in the presence of Sister Asuciana Pereira, teachers, parents & students.

Event Highlights

• Active Participation: Students participated with great enthusiasm and enjoyed at the stalls put up by the dedicated teachers like icecream, cold drinks, snacks, food , games, jam session (DJ)

• Stalls & Activities: The school arranged various food stalls and numerous game stations, which were a major hit among the children.

• Visiting Schools: Over a hundred students from CJM Hampton Court and St. George’s College also attended and enjoyed the festivities.

• Vote of Thanks: The school Principal, Sister Shyma V. Jose, expressed her gratitude to all parents and staff members for their support.

Lucky Draw Winners :-

A lucky draw was the highlight of the event, with several high-value prizes distributed, including:
