Mar Thoma Mission Mundgod Mar Thoma Mission situated in Mundgod taluk, Uttara Kannada district. people are staying in Mundgod taluk are mainly Buddhist, Hindus, Christians and Siddis.

People are mostly depend upon agriculture. after the Independence, a good number of people have come from Kerala and settled here. from 1953 inwards, spiritual leader like RevP.J Thomas Achen and Rev.PV Philip Achen used to go to the surrounding areas of the district from Ankola for their spiritual care and needs. in 1991, the Mission became an independent mission field under META. St.Thomas MTC M

undgod, Salem MTC Kargoli, Immanuel MTC Arisingeri and Jerusalem MTC Koppa are four churches and we have two chapels in Lokkolly and Nandikatta. they are nearly 100 Mar Thoma families are gere. Now five Evangelist and family is working in different villages. Let us join our hands together for the Glory of God......
