But why are we silent about how OUR tax money is spent? It is the duty of every citizen who wants to enjoy their basic economic rights, to have the basic knowledge of how the government takes money from you & then spends it. TEAM

The very word tax can make us turn the other way and run. We are so averse to understanding what it is, why it is different for various goods and services and finally what the government does with it, that we would rather not be aware. But a mass awareness of economic issues is necessary. This nation of young, vibrant Indians believe that knowledge is power. It is only when we have knowledge that we are empowered as citizens and we have the base on which to ask, demand and act. We need to build public opinion and more importantly need them to voice it. It is not enough to just go out and vote once every 5 years. After all it’s YOUR tax money and you have the right to know how it is spent. Hence our first campaign is about spreading awareness about taxes and holding the legislative accountable about how our tax money is spent. Join the movement towards an economic evolution.
