About us in brief, The DPZ Cricket Club is affiliated to Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and is also one of its founder members. DPZ is perhaps, the only cricket club in Asia that offers cricket coaching and other services absolutely free of cost to the trainees. In last 89 years, not a single rupee has been charged from any of its players. Every former generation of players look after the next g

eneration of players at the club. Taking care of their Cricket coaching, Academics, Clothes, Fees, Books, Admissions and helping to acquire jobs. Enabling an all-round growth, within and outside the field. Mangesh Bhalekar who currently owns the club is the recipient of the prestigious Shiv Chhatrapati award for his selfless contribution to the game. The club is known not only for its cricket, but also for a lot of social work that it is involved in like, Maidan Bachao and Swachh Maidan campaigns. DPZ aspires to not just create high class cricketers, but to make them good human beings which is of utmost importance in today's competitive world.

As a testament to his commitment to the sport, he graciously requested that the associated funds be utilized for the development of maidans and cricket infrastructure instead. 🏏

Over decades, empowering underprivileged youth through free coaching camps has been a cornerstone, nurturing budding talents since 1975.

🧹 His leadership shone bright during the Swachh Bharat Diwas clean-up at Dadkar Maidan, painting a vision for a cleaner, greener India. 🇮🇳

🏆 Successfully conducted 27th Shalini Bhalekar U-23 tournament. The revival of the Col. C.K. Nayudu Trophy stands tall as a testament to fostering talent, offering a path to the illustrious Ranji Trophy.
