The Leadership Collective was established to provide every Grade 5 student with the opportunity to discover their unique strengths and utilize them to make a positive impact. Rather than focusing on titles, we want students to experience leadership as collaboration, service, and taking initiative. It is about helping children realise that even small actions can have a meaningful impact on the people and community around them.

The Leadership Collective gives students opportunities to lead, make decisions, and contribute to school life in meaningful ways. As they work together to plan initiatives and solve problems, they learn to take responsibility, value different perspectives, and support one another. These experiences help them grow into leaders who are confident enough to take action, compassionate enough to listen, and responsible enough to lead with integrity.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026!

As our graduates prepare to spread their wings and embark on the next chapter of their educational journeys, we pause to celebrate all that they have achieved and the community that has walked alongside them.

Behind every milestone is a collective effort: the dedication of teachers, the guidance of mentors, the unwavering support of parents and, above all, the hard work and determination of our students.

Today, we celebrate not just their achievements, but the spirit of collaboration and community that made them possible.

How do you prepare children for change?

New class, new campus, new teachers, even new subjects. The start of a fresh academic year is filled to the brim with excitement, curiosity & a dash of uncertainty.

But as the BIS corridors come alive in July for a new school year, something heartening unfolds.

The youngest learners take their first steps boldly into Lower Prep. The Junior School corridors resound with the laughter of their newest inhabitants in Grade 1. At Gilbert, the debutant Middle Schoolers, our Grade 6 confidently navigate the different floors and greet teachers and staff.

It is a reminder of what lies at the heart of BIS: the child at the centre.

At Bombay International School, we've come to see transitions as an important part of a child's learning journey, not simply events to be managed.
A successful transition isn't the result of a well-planned orientation It's the outcome of thoughtful planning that begins long before the first day of school and continues well beyond it.

At the heart of that design is a simple idea: Continuity.
