🚨 ABVP Impact | Government Polytechnic Mumbai Ragging Case

A deeply disturbing case of ragging and harassment has come to light from Government Polytechnic College, Mumbai, where a first-year student was allegedly subjected to physical assault, mental harassment, threats, and intimidation by fellow students. It has also been alleged that objectionable/nude images of the victim were captured, causing severe trauma and fear.

The student reportedly conveyed the entire incident to his HOD and sought help from the college administration, but his cries remained unheard. Instead of receiving protection and support, the student allegedly continued to face intimidation.

Left with no option, the student approached ABVP.

ABVP immediately intervened and ensured that formal complaints were registered at Nirmal Nagar Police Station against the accused. The college administration has also been warned and given a strict deadline to take strong disciplinary action against those involved,

No student should ever have to suffer fear, humiliation, or violence inside an educational institution. Campuses must remain spaces of safety, dignity, and learning.

A deeply disturbing case has emerged from Government Polytechnic College, Mumbai, where a first-year student was allegedly subjected to ragging, physical assault, harassment, and severe mental intimidation. It has also been alleged that fellow students captured objectionable/nude images of the victim.

What is even more concerning is that when the student initially approached the college administration seeking help, no serious action was taken. Instead of protection, the student allegedly faced further intimidation and assault.

Left with no support from the institution, the student finally approached ABVP.

Vidyarthi Parishad immediately intervened and ensured that formal complaints were registered against all the accused at Nirmal Nagar Police Station.

No student should ever have to suffer violence, humiliation, or fear inside an educational institution. Campuses must remain spaces of safety, dignity, and learning, not silence and intimidation.

Strict action must be taken against all those involved.
