PMI Mumbai Chapter

PMI Mumbai Chapter . The Mumbai Chapter of PMI® was initiated in late 1998, with the important role of advancing the PMI® objectives.

It provides excellent opportunities to the project community to participate in seminars, open forums and other educational programs. In addition, it plays an important role in developing an understanding of local differences to the standard PMI® approaches and of their benefits and drawbacks. All these Chapter activities go a long way in establishing strong networks of project professionals. Netwo

rking is very important to project managers. PMI® represents members worldwide who are actively advancing the Project Management profession. The networking of these professionals serves to advance the profession through the free exchange of ideas and expressions, thereby creating vast learning opportunities. These constant learning processes help organizations to improve the effectiveness of their project efforts. These networks also bring people in project-operating and project-owner organizations together on informal and non-commercial platforms that enhance understanding of issues faced by both.

Some events you attend.
Some events stay with you.

Manthan 2026 was the kind where:
ideas turned into conversations,
and conversations turned into perspective shifts.

The kind that doesn’t end when the session does.

If you were there, you know.
If you weren’t… next time, don’t miss it.

Everyone is building AI.
Almost no one is thinking about the cost of it.
At Manthan 2026,
Mr. Rajat Arya flipped the conversation:
→ AI shouldn’t just be powerful. It should be efficient.
→ Growth without infrastructure = chaos
→ India shouldn’t just use AI — it should build it
Because the future of AI isn’t about the biggest models.
It’s about sustainable systems that actually scale.
This wasn’t a tech talk.
It was a reality check.

From AI to leadership, from innovation to responsibility—
Manthan 2026 wasn’t just an event. It was a shift in perspective.

If you missed it… you missed the room where it happened.

AI is powerful.
But in the wrong hands—or without humans—
it’s dangerous.

At Manthan 2026,
Rear Admiral Sarath Aashirwad made one thing clear:

→ AI should assist, not replace
→ Human judgement is still non-negotiable
→ Nations that build their own AI will lead

Because in high-stakes environments,
you don’t automate decisions.
You strengthen them.

This wasn’t just about technology.
It was about control, responsibility, and leadership.
