PERFECT CONNECTION @ SOY CONNEXT 2026! “One of the biggest takeaways from was the spirit of collaboration that the U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC) has fostered across the global soybean value chain,” shares SEA President and CEO of Patanjali Foods, Sanjeev Asthana, who joined industry leaders from around the world in Chicago for this landmark event.

In an increasingly interconnected world, needless to say, such platforms like have become more relevant than ever. Over the years, has played an important role in encouraging dialogue, promoting sustainable practices, facilitating knowledge exchange and helping the global soybean industry adapt to evolving trade standards and market expectations.

In fact, the event truly demonstrated that success is built not only on the field, but off the field as well. By bringing together delegates from more than 65 countries, created a much-needed platform for producers, processors, traders and policymakers to exchange ideas, strengthen partnerships and collectively address the opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the soybean sector.

Reflecting on the engagement, Sanjeev Asthana adds, "SEA and USSEC share a common objective, to create greater value for farmers, consumers and the industry. By working together, India and the United States can strengthen cooperation, promote knowledge exchange and contribute to a more resilient and sustainable global soybean ecosystem."

GLOBAL SOYBEAN INDUSTRY AT ‘SOY CONNEXT 2026’

The Solvent Extractors' Association of India ( ) delegation, alongside some of the most influential leaders and stakeholders from the global industry, is in the United States to participate in , hosted by U.S. Soybean Export Council (USSEC).

“The aim is to explore win-win opportunities for both countries,” says Sanjeev Asthana, President, SEA. “This visit is far more than a business mission. It is an opportunity to build bridges between two major agricultural economies.”

During one of the most awaited events, the delegation is engaged with leading industry stakeholders to discuss the global soybean outlook, supply-demand dynamics, sustainability, food security, consumer trends and the evolving role of soy in the global food ecosystem.

“Our focus is not only on trade, but on creating long-term value for the entire agri-food chain,” added Dr BV Mehta, Executive Director, SEA.

With SEA's leadership engaging directly with global industry experts, is expected to foster meaningful dialogue, deepen strategic partnerships and unlock collaborative opportunities that will benefit the value chain in both India and the United States.
