Kids Education Revolution is a bold and ambitious platform that is bringing educational institutions together, aiming to influence the conversation towards reimagining an excellent education which fulfills the individual potential of each child. We are a collective of organisations that aims to influence the conversation towards reimagining an excellent education by listening to and learning from our children and youth to fulfill the individual potential of each child and the collective potential of our nation. Kids Education Revolution exists to fundamentally shift the purpose of education and to change the conversation from a rote-driven, individualistic, exam dominated education towards a holistic education for every child.

Every child carries a version of this story, waiting to happen. ✨

A boy who kept asking how birds fly. A girl too shy to believe she was smart. A daughter told her voice was powerful. A boy who almost went unnoticed at the nets.

None of them became who they are alone. Someone — a teacher, a parent, a coach — chose to see them, hear them, and value them, long before the world did.

That’s what a safe space in the classroom really means. Not just the absence of fear — the presence of someone paying attention.

Every Student in every classroom is carrying a question they’re too afraid to ask, an idea they’re not sure is “good enough,” a version of themselves waiting to be noticed.

"Starting something new is really, really hard. But the moment you take the first step, all the other steps get easier."

Those are the words of Amisha, a Student in grade nine, on the library she built for her community when there was not one. She did not read that in a book. She learned it by doing it.

She saw a gap in her own neighbourhood and decided it was hers to close. She found a space, gathered the books, convinced parents to trust her with their children, and kept going even after the library had to shut, because the readers did not want to stop. No permission, no title, no waiting to be old enough.

That is leadership, and she is still in school.
We tend to treat young people as leaders in waiting, but ability does not depend on age or a title. Amisha is proof of that.
When we trust Students with real responsibility and the belief that they can carry it, they do not just picture a better world. They take the first step, they bring others with them, and they begin creating the change the rest of us are still talking about.

This is what the Kids Education Revolution stands for: unlocking the potential of Students to lead.

That's the whole idea behind India & I Studies, KER's open-source curriculum. Instead of definitions on a board, it hands teachers simple, powerful classroom activities that bring justice, liberty, equality and fraternity to life, one lived moment at a time.

Every lesson is built to be run, not just read: a spark to open young minds, an activity to make the idea real, and a reflection to make it stick. All of it free, detailed, bilingual, and curated for every grade.
