Dhai Akshar Educational Trust Dhai Akshar Educational Trust is a non-profit after-school holistic learning centre for underprivileged children in Versova, Mumbai.

We teach life skills and build their talents in music, dance, theatre, yoga etc. and are dedicated to community building. Founded in 2013, Dhai Akshar serves as an after-school holistic learning centre in Versova, Mumbai, where we go above and beyond to provide underprivileged children with an empowering environment where they can fully embrace their identity and gain all the extra-curricular skil

ls that are overlooked in their regular schools. At Dhai Akshar, we believe that children are the very essence of the future. Who they are tomorrow is essentially the outcome of how they are nurtured today. Our vision stems from the fundamental belief in equal and equitable opportunities for all children, and the conviction that love can transform lives.

🍕 When Our Bacchas Became Little Pizza Chefs! 👨‍🍳✨

An amazing opportunity to learn and make their very own pizzas from scratch! From kneading the dough right upto adding the toppings, watching it bake, to the best part — eating it all! 😍🍕

And all this under the guidance of the most skilled chefs at Si Nonna's, Andheri! 🙌 Watching our little ones walk in with their tiny aprons on was just the most adorable sight ever! 🥺👨‍🍳

A big thank you to Connectfor .cf for making this incredible experience possible and to Si Nonna's for opening their doors and their kitchen to our bacchas so warmly! 🙏💛

Experiences like these remind us that learning is always so much more delicious when it comes with a slice of pizza! 😄🍕

And just like that, we wrapped up our most beloved annual exhibition, Kalaa Unlimited and what a beautiful, overwhelming, joy filled experience it was! 🥹💛

You may have seen the stories and reviews pouring in and honestly, kya hi exhibition tha! 🙌😍

From sustainability to crochet, from art to our resource room, from photography to mechanics, from a warm welcome to a heartfelt pledge send off.
Every corner of the exhibition was a reflection of how incredibly hard our children have worked this year. We are absolutely grateful for every single person who came, witnessed and cheered our bacchas on! 🙏

Episode 5 — Aarya Gulla 🌟

If there was ever a boy who lit up a room, it was Aarya. 😊

That smile. Those dimples. Always there, always real.

He was our dancer, our actor, our artist, our star skater, the kind of kid who threw himself into everything with pure joy. 🎭🎨⛸️

And he was good at all of it.

What started as a small internship right after his 12th quietly, steadily turned into a career. 💼

Today, Aarya juggles college and work,
and somehow makes it all look effortless.

And when his recruiters tell us how well Aarya is doing?
That's when it hits us — this is what Dhai Akshar stands for.

🌸 Breaking the Silence, One Conversation at a Time!

Today on 'World Menstrual Hygiene Day' we at Dhai Akshar believe in creating safe spaces where our girls can learn, ask and grow without hesitation! 💪

We had the wonderful Yashvii Trivedi from ._ conduct a meaningful session on 'menstruation' for our girls aged 9 and above. The session covered everything from puberty and the physiology of menstruation to menstrual health, hygiene and busting common myths! 🙌

Watching our girls so interactive, open and confident in sharing their experiences proved there is magic of a safe space within DA!🥹💛

A heartfelt thank you to Yashvii for taking the time to educate and empower our girls in the most warm and nurturing way. Sessions like these remind us that basic education on health and hygiene is not a privilege, it is a right! 🌸

🏕️ Summer Camp 2026 | The Dhai Akshar MET Gala! 👗✨

Move over New York because just weeks after the real MET Gala, Versova hosted its own, and it was ICONIC! 😍🔥

Our incredible Nyla Teacher & Immi Sir (Imtiyaz Khan), Costume Designers from the film industry, set the stage with the most exciting challenge — design costumes 'inspired by the Tribes of India! 🇮🇳✂️🎨

5 teams. 10 costumes. Endless creativity! 🙌

And here's the best part — no fancy fabrics here! Our bacchas got brilliantly resourceful using old CDs, gonis, scrap material, dried coconut leaves and more to bring their tribal visions to life! ♻️🌿😍
Now that is creativity at its finest!

They poured their hearts and imagination into every stitch, every detail and every design! The results? Absolutely STUNNING! 🤩

Just when we thought it couldn't get any better, our models took to the floor and carried those costumes with such panache that the heat in the room went up by ten degrees! 🔥👑

What a session it was! 🤩

We had the privilege of having the incredibly talented Saba Gaziyani Miss , one of Asia's leading food stylists and photographers, walk our kids through the fascinating world of AI and photography! 🙌

From spotting the difference between real and AI images to designing the simplest, most effective prompts. It was a total eye opener for our young minds! 🧠💡

And then came the moment we had all been waiting for! The results of our Photography Competition! 🏆 This year's theme? 'Moods' : capturing the moods of nature, humans or animals, and our kids absolutely delivered! 😍📷

The best part? You'll get to see all the stunning clicks at our upcoming 'Kalaa Unlimited Exhibition'! 👀🎨

Our littlest ones grooved their hearts out in the most fun dance session with the wonderful Urvi Miss 💃 The energy, the giggles, the moves! What a sight it was! 😄

And then our older bacchas took centre stage 🎭 performing a thoughtful play on the usage of AI for their juniors! Watching them give back, teach and inspire the little ones!That's what makes us the proudest! 🙌

The art of giving back started early and we couldn't be more grateful! 💛

Big eyes but no dreams in sight yet. 🌫️
Always a step behind, always in someone else's shadow.

But something was quietly building inside her.
