Our beneficiaries are children with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Delay and Down syndrome, ranging from Mild, Moderate to Profound. We empower children to become self reliant by catering to their needs of education, vocational training, life skills, therapies and treatment, at absolute

ly no cost. Due to their weak financial condition, these children are often confined at home and deprived of education and therapies that is paramount for their growth and development. Additionally, the society stigma prevents the parents to seek timely intervention. That being an alarming concern, we locate special needs children through survey and thereby counsel their parents about special education and right to education. These are the "missing children" from our lives. Already born into less privileged society, lack of support from their families further alienates them. Gharkul provides these special children from with basic life skills, therapies, vocational skills, employability skills, social skills, exposure to arts & culture and lots more. It is our belief that with these very basic skills, these children can be as independent as any other child today...
