“Cement to slate”
Haste Khelte foundation initiated its education program “cement to slate” for children of construction workers. These children belong to different age groups ranging from 3 yrs old to 11 yrs old. We started by attempting to bring about some difference in t

he way they spent their entire day. From rolling in the mud to rolling and playing on a mat in the classroom, from holding sticks, iron and broken pipes to holding toys, books, slates and chalks. Today we proudly say that our children go to MCGM English medium schools. Under the umbrella of Haste Khelte Foundation a vast area of work is undertaken including holistic child development centre, women’s empowerment, youth employment and a lot more
