Athang, an ambitious initiative spearheaded by nine enthusiastic youths, emerged with the noble intention of catalyzing societal transformation. Rooted in the fervent desire to enact meaningful change, the Athang Foundation materialized and officially became registered in 2016. The initial focus of Athang was to collaborate with underprivileged children. An impactful endeavor took shape as we exte
nded support to a school in Dahanu, facilitating the distribution of essential clothing and stationery. This marked the first step in our quest to drive positive change. Subsequently, the scope of Athang's involvement broadened as we progressively engaged with the wider community. The paramount objective remained clear: to extend our reach to as many individuals as possible. This journey into the heart of the community enabled us to better understand the diverse needs and aspirations of those we aimed to assist. Over the years, Athang Foundation has not merely evolved, but has evolved with a sense of purpose.
