It will be good to be there as a Speaker for the second time in 10 months. ‘Responsible Fashion’ will be spoken of passionately once again 😉.

Sri Lanka has a rich tradition in crafts and it’s time we see more of that included in fashion.

The Fashion Design Council of Sri Lanka has introduced Craft Fashion Fund, to encourage and promote the use of Crafts in fashion.

Craft Fashion Fund, in the inaugural year will award two winning entries.

1) Emerging Batik Designer
2) Emerging Craft Designer (this category Includes crafts like Block printing, Dumbura, Beeralu etc, all crafts other than batik).

Entries will close on 30th October.

So all the young batik and craft based designers send your entries. For more info write to [email protected]

HOW TO APPLY

Submit your concept /ideas along with your portfolios on or before the 30th of October 2024 to [email protected]

Please title your email subject as ‘Emerging Batik/Craft Designer Application’.
