On 2nd September, RC Queen’s Necklace Mumbai, through its Feed All in Need initiative, distributed 100 nutritious grocery kits to economically vulnerable cancer patients and their families.
Each kit, worth ₹1,000, was thoughtfully put together with dals, chana, soya, dalia, oats, rice bran oil, spices, flax seeds and other essentials, offering nutritional support to families already navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.
But beyond the numbers, the experience was deeply humbling.
Meeting families who are struggling with financial hardship while caring for a loved one reminds us how much we often take for granted. Their resilience, their care for one another and their quiet strength leave you with a deeper sense of gratitude, and an even greater responsibility to be compassionate towards those around us.
This distribution reached approximately 400 beneficiaries across 100 families, identified through genuine financial need.
And this is only the beginning. Through Feed All in Need, we hope to support 100 families every month and 1,200 families every year.
