Shaikh Foundation is the Ray of Hope to many needy citizens of India. A Not-for-Profit Organisation striving to ‘support’ and ‘provide’ people of all walks of life. This organization has one working model : Outreach. Under outreach it directly executes developmental projects for underprivileged in rural and urban areas across the country by way of;
1. Promoting universal education among underpriv

ileged children and plays an instrumental role in creating process for embracing these children into mainstream society. It looks to facilitate children into becoming productive assets and generate the ground work for nation building.
2. Empower women by giving them a platform to voice out social injustice and equal participation in all aspects of life for betterment of society, culture and country.
3. Improve the quality of life of destitute elders primarily in the rural areas through its welfare projects by providing for basic necessities life food, clothing, medicine and shelter.
4. Spread sheer joy and happiness. Shaikh Foundation was founded by Late Mr. Haidar Abdulla Shaikh in the late 80’s. He firmly believed that each one of us is capable of making a life by giving. He would always quote Winston Churchill - “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give”. Mushtaq Shaikh and Mrs. Gulnaz Shaikh, the Shaikh family has continued his legacy by nurturing the cause of giving.

महाराष्ट्रात दुकाने २४x७ उघडी ठेवण्याचा ऐतिहासिक निर्णय!

जनतेच्या सोयीसाठी, व्यवसाय व रोजगारवाढीसाठी महाराष्ट्र सरकारकडून मोठे पाऊल.
मा. मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस जी आणि मा. कामगार मंत्री आकाश फुंडकर जी यांच्या पुढाकारातून हा निर्णय प्रत्यक्षात उतरला आहे.

विधान परिषद, आमदार डॉ. निरंजन वसंत डावखरेजी , या निर्णयामागे सातत्याने पत्रव्यवहार व पाठपुरावा करत होते . त्यांनी मा. कामगार मंत्री यांना दिलेल्या पत्राद्वारे व्यापाऱ्यांच्या व नागरिकांच्या भावना सरकारपर्यंत पोहोचवल्या होत्या. त्या पाठपुराव्याचाही विचार या निर्णयप्रक्रियेत झाला, त्यामुळे निरंजन जी चे अभिनंदन!

यानिर्णयामुळे आवश्यक सेवा व महत्त्वाची दुकाने अखंडित सुरू ठेवण्याचा मार्ग खुला झाला असून व्यवसाय व रोजगाराला मोठी गती मिळणार आहे.

या दूरदृष्टीपूर्ण, लोकाभिमुख निर्णयाबद्दल सर्व मान्यवरांचे मनःपूर्वक अभिनंदन व आभार!

विषय:- धाराशिव जिल्ह्यातील आपत्तीग्रस्तांना करण्यात येणाऱ्या मदतीच्या अनुषंगाने TISS तुळजापूर यांच्या पुढाकारातून व मा. जिल्हाधिकारी साहेब यांच्या अध्यक्षतेखाली NGOs समन्वय नियोजन बैठक

प्रिय सहकारी,

धाराशिव जिल्ह्यातील अतिवृष्टीमुळे निर्माण झालेल्या गंभीर परिस्थितीत आपल्या सर्व NGOs संस्था करत असलेले कार्य हे समाजासाठी प्रेरणादायी व अनुकरणीय आहे.

आपत्तीग्रस्त कुटुंबांना दिलेल्या मदतीतून आपली मानवी संवेदना, सामाजिक जबाबदारी व तळमळ दिसून येते. ही मदत अनेकांना आशेचा किरण ठरत आहे.

या पार्श्वभूमीवर, जिल्ह्यातील सर्व NGOs एकत्र येऊन समन्वयातून आपत्तीग्रस्तांना तातडीची मदत आणि भविष्यातील शाश्वत विकासासाठी ठोस उपाययोजना यावर गट चर्चा व पुढील नियोजन करण्यासाठी ही बैठक आयोजित करण्यात आली आहे.

या बैठकीत मा. जिल्हाधिकारी साहेब मार्गदर्शन करणार असून, आपल्या सर्वांच्या सक्रीय सहभागामुळे हे सामूहिक प्रयत्न अधिक सक्षम व परिणामकारक ठरतील.

म्हणूनच आपण सर्व NGO प्रमुख व प्रतिनिधींनी या बैठकीस उपस्थित राहावे व आपल्या मौल्यवान अनुभव, सूचना व सहभागाने या उपक्रमाला बळ द्यावे. ही विनंती.
