🌈 Empowering Through Self-Help 🌟
Many transgender community members face poverty and economic struggles due to lack of income, education, and support. At GAURAV, we see their strength and potential beyond the challenges. 💪
To empower them, we’ve distributed high-quality sewing machines to 10 transgender individuals, giving them the tools to sew clothes, bags, and handicrafts for personal use or larger business enterprises. This initiative helps them build sustainable income and regain self-confidence and dignity within society.
Together, we’re breaking barriers and creating opportunities for a brighter, inclusive future! 💜

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our Community Empowerment initiative under SAKSHAM Programme, designed to create opportunities and foster self-reliance within the community.

🎉 Tailoring and Garment Manufacturing Course

As part of this initiative, we are offering a comprehensive course on tailoring and garment manufacturing at GAURAV’s Kanjurmarg centre. This program aims to equip participants with valuable skills that can open doors to sustainable livelihoods and entrepreneurial ventures.

This program is a step forward in empowering individuals and building a strong, self-sustained community. Together, we stitch a future filled with opportunities!

Today, on World AIDS Day in Indore, hosted by NACO, we had the privilege of showcasing our skill-based initiative for the transgender community empowerment.
We proudly presented community made following products in the stalls:
🕯️ Candle making
🧼 Organic soap production
👜 Jute bag making
🧶 Jute yarn-making
It was an honour to have Shri J P Nadda, Hon’ble Union Minister of Health & Family Welfare, and Dr. Mohan Yadav, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, visit our stalls. Their words of encouragement fuel our mission to create a healthier, inclusive future.

This Navratri, GAURAV organization embraced the true spirit of unity by celebrating with the transgender community, creating memories full of joy, colour, and togetherness.

Navratri is a time for empowerment, resilience, and love, and we are proud to share these values with everyone in our community. 💜🌈 From the vibrant Garba dances of Navratri to the serenity of Kojagiri Poornima, every moment was a reminder that festivals are meant to bring people together, regardless of gender or identity. 🌕💜
