Dharma Bharathi Mission is the ‘core organization’ responsible to coordinate and achieve the goal of the Second Freedom Struggle of India. In fulfilling this divine mission, the members of Dharma Bharathi Mission are called to be committed to the growth and development of the last and the least in the Indian society. This commitment to the welfare of the last and the least is also a ‘spiritual option’ of DBM in their efforts to achieve the common basic goal of a ‘hunger-free, caste-free and corruption-free India’. Thus ‘Dharma Bharathi Mission’ (DBM) is a socio-spiritual organization dedicated to God for the divine mission of transforming India into the ‘Dharma Bharathi’ of our vision. Achieving the goal of ‘Purna Swaraj’ for India through a Second Freedom Struggle is an essential prerequisite for realizing the vision of ‘Dharma Bharathi’. DBM was initiated on 30th January 2003 by Swami Sachidananda Bharathi to provide organizational support and leadership to the National Regeneration Movement (NRM) launched by him from Hyderabad during the Golden Jubilee of Indian Independence. NRM was transformed into a ‘Second Freedom Struggle’ for the economic, social and moral freedoms of India as envisaged by Mahatma Gandhi with the common basic goal of ‘Hunger-free Caste-free Corruption-free India’ on 30th January 2008 at Gandhi Mandapam, Kanyakumari. DBM was also re-dedicated to God on that day as the ‘core organisation’ responsible to provide organizational support and enlightened leadership to the Second Freedom Struggle of India. A written Constitution was adopted on that day for DBM. Hence, 30th January 2008 is taken as the formal ‘birth day’ of DBM. The ’ Fundamental Duties’ of Indian citizens as enshrined in the Constitution of India under Article 51 –A), the Basic mission methodology, and the three self-commitments of the Second Freedom Struggle made to God on 30th January 2008 at Gandhi Mandapam, Kanyakumari, will provide a strong socio-spiritual foundation for the vision and mission of DBM. Dharma Bharathi Mission (DBM) is a socio-spiritual organization , a mission for human solidarity, holistic development and integral peace
