Every workplace deserves to be safe, respectful, and inclusive. At Open Minds Foundation, we support corporates, NGOs, and educational institutions in building stronger protections against harassment.

We help organisations:
- Draft clear, compliant PoSH policies (including gender-neutral versions)
- Design and deliver PoSH awareness workshops for employees

Silence after abuse has many faces.
Some hide.
Some fight.
Some fade away.

Silence is survival — not proof that nothing happened.

If you want to help:
- Respond with belief and compassion, no matter when or how they tell you.
- Listen without pressing for details or doubting their story.
- Take steps to ensure their safety — and keep showing up over time.

Support in India:
- CHILDLINE 1098 — 24/7 helpline for children in distress
- National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) — ncpcr.gov.in
- Women’s Helpline 181 — available in most states for women and girls at risk

Resources:
- National Child Traumatic Stress Network — nctsn.org
- Darkness to Light — d2l.org (prevention training & resources)
- RAINN (US) — rainn.org | 1-800-656-4673

Every path to healing is valid.

In a world where it seems like the scales are tipped in the favour of a certain group, it’s easy to turn a blind eye on boys and men that are victimised.
This isn’t whataboutism, this is acknowledging that all children need to be protected.
Irrespective of their biological s*x and gender identity.

You can play a small role in making things better:
- Inform yourselves as parents and safe adults in the vicinity of children, about the prevention of child s*xual abuse and what signs observed in a child could signal that they are being abused.
- Call-out problematic stereotypes and conditioned responses in your circles, do not make discussing abuse a taboo topic.
- If you see something, say something.
- Believe a survivor. Always.

CSA (child s*xual abuse) survivors often carry invisible scars into adulthood. Mistrust, shame, or body triggers can surface years later in an unexpected way. These feelings mean your body remembers how to protect you. With awareness and support, these patterns can slowly shift. You are not alone 🫂

Open Minds Foundation conducts training and workshops for schools and colleges (for gender sensitisation, CSA awareness, and s*x education) as well as for corporates and institutes (for PoSH training).
