BMDF Signify Bless Minorities Development Foundation is a Mumbai based registered non- political and non profit making organization working since year 2001. AIM & OBJECTIVE OF THE ORGANIZATION:
To promote education among the weaker section of the society, primarily Muslims and other generally. The promotion of education shall include the promotion of science, Literature and environment studies. T

o work for social upliftment of the backward and minority communities of Indian society. To bring about a better understanding and appreciation of universal cultural values. FUTUER PROGRAMMES:
• Monthly education aid for the needy students above SSC.
• Financial aid for those students who are preparing for (UPSC,MPSC)
• High cost education loan scholarship (Interest free)
• Computer education for all (Specially for Housewives)
• General medical aid
• Ambulance service
HISTORY:
Bless minorities Development Foundation was established in January 2001 by a Group of six BEST employees. The primary objectives of these minded people was to help the Muslim children who were less fortunate than the others. They felt that they could help them to get education. This was the outcome of a brain storming which these people had at one the visit of slum of Dharavi and shivaji nagar (Govandi) which is muslim dominated area. With six enthusiastic people the first managing committee was established. Funds for the organization were realized by collecting membership fees and donations from members, the money realized was used only to felicitate students and distribution of scholarships for needy and poor students at a small level. TODAY:
Today it is supported by 22 life members, 50 yearly members, a donor base of more than 10, old news paper donors and near about 1500 supporters. But still we are unable to provide help to large number needy student due to shortage of fund. ACHIEVEMENTS:
• Career guidance lecture and chart exhibition on education & career was organised at Santacruz BEST colony for std. 9th – 12th.
• Educational tours for children, parents of BMDF and others.
• Career guidance lecture for S.S.C & H.S.C students in school.
• Financial aid given to needy student.
• Felicitation of S.S.C & H.S.C students for their excellence academic results.
• Started Anti Drugs Campaign at Malwani (Malad) and posters were displayed.
• Supporting Fatima Public School in rural area, Fatehpur (U.P), and Anam High School , Malwani (Malad). Appeal
At the empower program we provide scholarship, financial aid (poor Student), felicitation of students, career guidance lecture and chart exhibitions, anti drugs campaign. Finally my appeal to all our well wishers is that we need their support in increasing our horizon to bring about quality change in Indian society especially Muslim minorities.
