Ekam Foundation Mumbai

Ekam was formally inaugurated on Doctor’s day(1st July, 2007) as a Community Pediatric Project of CIOSA (Confederation of Indian Organisations for service and Advocacy). Then, it gradually spun-off as a registered non-profit organisation in August, 2009. Ekam Mumbai chapter was commenced in January 2013, with a view to address the infant mortality rates in Mumbai and other parts of Maharashtra. Its partnership with the Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) in collaboration with its other partners has been a cornerstone in providing training and capacity building exercise to all nurses in its hospitals.
