With another month down, May ’26 was fantastic for us! Here is everything we managed to do in this month -

✂️🐱 574 cats were sterilised in our program, with 213 being male and 361 being female.

🩺  858 clinic cases were treated in our OPD, out of which 831 were cats and 27 were dogs.

🐾 23 cats were rehabilitated in our hospital ward, including cats with maggot wounds, re**al prolapse, eye entropion etc.

💉36 major surgeries that our vets performed this month that include tail amputations, diaphragmatic hernia, dental extractions, dystocia, eye extirpations etc.

👫 6 new community events such as corporate stalls, surveys, and water bowl giveaways.

As always, we are grateful to our vets, vet assistants, housekeeping, cage managers, and admin team for their continued dedication, hard work, passion and love for animals.❤️ They are the reason we get to make the impact we do.

We are also grateful for the support from our community, feeders, volunteers, donors, partners and all of you that follow us. ❤️ Your support helps keep us moving!

We hope you all had a great May too, we aim to do even better in June!

Funds needed for Bubu!!!!!!!

Shabbir is a kind feeder in Chakala, he takes care of and feeds around 10 to 12 cats in his area at any given time. One of these cats, Bubu, suddenly disappeared! He was nowhere to be found. After several days, Shabbir found him near his house, weak and with a would on his cheek. Seeing his condition, Shabbir brought Bubu to our centre to get him checked.

When our doctors examined Bubu, they noticed he had a very extensive wound on his left cheek which was infested by maggots. It is possible that he got his wound due to a cat fight, since he is an unneutered male. Our vets cleaned the wound, removed the maggots and dressed it. After which we admitted him to our hospital ward.

Bubu was scared and in pain when he came in for examination 😞. Thankfully, with the care and treatment that our vets and cage managers have provided, he has started to settle and show his gentle side. With how extensive his wound is, he will be staying with us for several weeks.

An amount of Rs. 46,500 will completely cover the cost of his stay, food, treatment and medication. If you can donate, please use the link in our bio to help raise funds for Bubu's recovery.

Thank you. 💕

FUNDS NEEDED FOR LALYA!!!!!

Lalya is a stray cat that lives around Nikita’s house in Ghatkopar West. Nikita kindly feeds Lalya cat food whenever he visits her. One day, he disappeared for a few days and showed up with a wound on his face. She also noticed that his eyelids looked inflamed. Seeing the state he was in, she decided to get him medical help and brought him to us.

Upon examining Lalya, our doctors noticed that the wound on his left cheek had maggots. They flushed the maggots out, cleaned the wound and dressed it. Luckily it is not as extensive as initially feared. The vets also examined why Lalya is barely able to open his eyes. He is suffering from eye entropion, which means his eyelids have folded inwards towards his eyeballs. This is causing irritation, redness and watering in his eyes.

Since Lalya also has a cold, our doctors need to treat him before they can surgically correct his eyelids. Lalya has been admitted to our hospital ward where he will stay with us for several weeks if not months. Once he recovers from his cold, our doctors will do an eye entropion surgery on him. They will also be neutering him.

Lalya is very gentle and relaxes into a puddle when we pet him. He loves his naps and you can feel his relaxation watching him fall asleep. ❤️

An amount of Rs. 58,650 will completely cover the cost of Lalya’s stay, food, medication, treatment and surgery. If you can donate, please use the QR code in the last slide of the post, you can also use the link in our bio to donate through our website!

Thank you.

We are running low on newspapers!!

We use newspapers to line up our cages so that the kitties we intake have a softer, more absorbent base to rest on. They help with both the comfort and hygiene. We are urgently in need of more newspapers as they are in constant use, they are one of the supplies we can never have enough of.

If you have any newspapers that you were planning to give to a raddi waala, please consider donating those to help our kitties. ❤️

You can send or bring newspapers to the following address:
