Zoroastrian Return to Roots

Zoroastrian Return to Roots The Zoroastrian Return to Roots Program is designed to foster community links and a sense of identity among Zoroastrian youth.

The Return to Roots Program is an effort to bring together young Zoroastrians from across the world. Youth will be taken on short tours of Zoroastrian India (and eventually Iran), where they will participate in educational and community-service oriented activities over a period of about ten days. Upon returning, participants will be expected to take leadership roles in their local and national Zor

oastrian communities. This youth-initiated Program is being supervised and guided by the UNESCO-PARZOR Foundation, an international NGO devoted to serving the community in an apolitical manner through scholarship and outreach. Modeled after similar programs in other communities—the Jewish, the Taiwanese, the Georgians, and the Armenians all have similar programs—we aim to make these RTR trips affordable for any young Zoroastrian from any part of the world. And with the lunch at Ripon Club on Navroze day.....it's a wrap !!! The 8th Return To Roots 2025 is one for the history books. As these RTR Fellows head back to their countries they go with a renewed sense of identity and knowledge of their faith. But very importantly they take with them amazing memories of India....a land that has allowed Zoroastrianism and Parsis and Iranis to thrive and flourish over the centuries. We can't wait to see all the amazing ways these Fellows engage with their own communities and faiths back in their homelands. RTR for Life !
