Synopsis of the Speech by Mr. Latesh Shah
Mr. Latesh Shah delivered an inspiring talk focusing on the importance of purposeful living, self-awareness, and service to society. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of the Bhagavad Gita, he explained that life should not be spent merely trying to impress others but should be guided by a clear purpose and meaningful action.
He emphasized three important principles for a successful life — Integrity, Intention, and Intensity — which together help individuals achieve their goals while remaining ethical and committed. He also spoke about the three “P’s” of life: Presence, Practice, and Purpose, highlighting the importance of staying focused in the present moment, continuously improving oneself, and working towards a meaningful objective.
Through interactive exercises with the audience, he demonstrated how focus and awareness play a crucial role in decision-making and personal growth. He encouraged people to let go of negativity such as fear, guilt, and complaints, and instead cultivate positivity, gratitude, and joy.
Addressing Rotarians specifically, he appreciated Rotary’s global work in community service and encouraged members to continue working together with dedication and compassion to create a better world.
