Bal Gopal Mitra Mandal was established in 1989 with the cultural vision of celebrating the Ganesh festival. In 2008 our Mandal had introduced the concept of Green Ganesha. Our very own member late Derik Jadhav had put forward the 'Paper Idol' in the General Body meeting and hence we introd
uced the paper Idol of Lord Ganesha. That dream of Derik was fulfilled by our very own IDOL MAKER Mr. Digambar Mayekar. From 2008 all our idols were made from tissue paper which is the best alternative of Plaster of Paris. From the establishment of our Mandal the whole decoration is carried out by our own members. We all believe in the all around (overall) development of hidden talent of our members. In our Peshwa Pariar we have more than 300 members attached with us and working for the welfare of the society without any expectation. We have not only gathered a name in the Sarvajani Madals of Mumbai as a Socially Responsible Mandal but also we have earned a tag of Discipline Mandal in Mumbai Suburb.
