Bal Anand Worldchildren Welfare Trust India Bal Anand (1984) established a residential home for orphaned, abandoned, relinquished,destitute children, aged 0-6 years, rehabilitating them by adoption.

Bal Anand WWTI is a Residential Children's Home located in Chembur, Mumbai, India. where Adoption is our main programme. Children without a family can get a permanent home for their lifelong future. We also provide Temporary Shelter for children brought to us by the Child Welfare Committee (CWC). Bal Anand WWTI serves as a long term home for children with developmental / physical disabilities also

referred to as Children with Special Needs or being Differently-Abled. After turning 18, our Special Needs / Differently Abled children at are transported to our sister NGO Umang WWTI (https://www.facebook.com/umangwwti/) located in Karjat, India where they are provided a permanent home for the remainder of their days.

Escorted to the Netherlands when he was just one year old baby by Ms. Sulochana, Sharan returned to Bal Anand after nearly three decades; now on a deeply personal roots journey.

This was his second visit, and it turned out to be an emotional and nostalgic experience and rollercoaster of memories and feelings.

For Sharan, coming back here is more than just a visit; it brings him joy, comfort, and peace.

We were also glad that our former Director, Ms. Madhavi, could join us for this special moment, making the visit even more meaningful.

In a heartfelt gesture, Sharan sponsored vada pav for the evening snacks.
