Highlighting the importance of tree cover for a sustainable future in a place like Raibareli in Lucknow, Vanashakti and SJS Public School, Bachhrawan Branch in Raebareli came together to plant the saplings of a greener tomorrow.

🌱🌳 The students and teachers joined hands, hearts, and shovels to breathe life into this noble endeavour. With every sapling carefully planted into the earth, students made a promise to nature - a promise to protect, nurture, and protect the environment that sustains us all.

Let's continue to be stewards of the environment and champions of a sustainable future. The smiles on student's faces mirrored the hope in their hearts, as each tree planted today will provide shade, shelter, and clean air for generations to come.

Playing a part in the Global movement for safeguarding the "Coastal Guardians - *Mangroves*" On the occasion of World Mangrove Action Day - The day for Conservation of Mangrove Ecosystem,

Vanashakti organised Awareness Session and Poster Competition based on the Mangrove Ecosystem in Various schools of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai region .
A mangrove trail was also organised for the students so they can gain a better understanding about the mangrove ecosystem at Nature Interpretation Centre , Airoli.

We congratulate the winner of the competitions and hope that the legacy of environmental education is carried ahead.

We would like to thank the Forest Department of Maharashtra and for their valuable support and guidance for the program.
