When local talent gets the right guidance then enterprises can grow, communities can move forward & rural ecosystem is empowered.

Project Boot Camps, held across Sangli, Satara and Solapur brought together women entrepreneurs, SHGs, FPOs and UMED–MSRLM teams for awareness of , strengthen entrepreneurial capabilities and provide guidance about the application process, benefits and eligibility criteria.

With a strong focus on empowering rural women entrepreneurs, the initiative aims to unlock local potential, encourage sustainable businesses and create meaningful opportunities for rural communities.

District-Level Boot Camp was conducted on 24th July 2026 in Ambernath Panchayat Samiti office in Thane district. This successfully united women entrepreneurs from SHGs and FPEs, district and taluka-level officials, and key ecosystem stakeholders in a shared journey of growth and innovation.

Organised under the URJA Project in collaboration with UMED-MSRLM and AIC-RMP, in partnership with the DMMU Thane, the boot camp aimed to nurture entrepreneurial thinking, strengthen enterprise capabilities, and unlock sustainable livelihood pathways.

We remain committed to empowering women entrepreneurs to build stronger businesses and drive lasting community impact.

The District-Level Boot Camp held on 23rd July 2026 in Nashik Panchayat Samiti office brought together women entrepreneurs from SHGs and FPEs, district and taluka-level officials, and ecosystem partners for the impactful days of learning and collaboration.

This boot camp was organized under the Project through the joint efforts of UMED-MSRLM and AIC-RMP, in partnership with the DMMU Nashik, was focused on awareness, mobilization about Project, syncing up with district and block team for further ex*****on.

Together, we continue to empower women entrepreneurs to build resilient enterprises and contribute to sustainable community development.

During visit to Gandhinagar, Gujarat on 17th & 18th July 2026, our CEO Uday Wankawala had the opportunity to interact with visionary dignitaries viz. Dr. Sunil Shukla (Director General, EDII) & Dr. Arvind Ranade, Director, National Innovation Foundation (NIF). He briefed them about the impact of AIC-RMP in the startup eco-system since inception in 2018-19 and future plan of URJA- a project with UMED-Maharashtra State Rural Livelihood Mission (MSRLM) and the possibility of engagement with both the esteemed Institutions.

He also joined Prakash Yatra 2026 with Indian Institute of Democratic Leadership - IIDL Alumni led by Pranav Patel (Dean, IIDL) under the guidance of Dr. Vinay Sahasrabuddhe (Vice Chairman, RMP), Sujay Patki (General Body Member, RMP) & Abhiram Ghadyalpatil (ED, RMP).

The aim of IIDL & Prakash Yatra is experiential learning, mentorship, and meaningful engagement with visionary leaders, preparing students and alumni to make a lasting impact in public policy and governance.

From Sahyadri to the Coast, a stronger incubation & innovation ecosystem takes shape!
AIC-RMP was proud to be part of the Regional AIM SUMVAAD – West Chapter, held on 16th July at AIC-MIT ADT Pune, bringing together innovation leaders, policymakers, academic institutions and incubators to strengthen the startup ecosystem across Maharashtra and Goa.
Represented by Uday Wankawala, CEO, and Sachindra Kamble, Incubation Manager, AIC-RMP had the privilege of taking the lead in drafting the framework for the Maharashtra & Goa Incubation Innovation Alliance (MGIIA) – “From Sahyadri to the Coast.”
Our CEO, Uday Wankawala, set the context ahead of the MGIIA framework launch—marking an important step towards stronger regional collaboration, shared opportunities and greater collective impact.
We appreciate the efforts of Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) and AIC-MIT ADT Pune in bringing the ecosystem together. We look forward to seeing the West Chapter evolve into a powerful platform for collaboration, innovation and sustainable startup growth.
