A safe home changes everything.

Every family deserves a place where they can live with safety, dignity and hope.

A home is more than four walls and a roof. It is the foundation for better health, greater security, improved opportunities and a brighter future for generations to come.

Habitat for Humanity India, with support from Samsung C&T, worked alongside 15 families from the Warli tribal community in Palghar district, Maharashtra, to build safe and decent homes. The project also brought improved sanitation to three schools, helping children learn in healthier, safer and more dignified environments.

Together, these interventions are strengthening communities, improving quality of life and creating pathways to a better future.

🎥 Watch these inspiring stories of resilience, transformation and hope and see the lasting impact of safe housing and improved sanitation.

There are many families across India who still need a safe place to call home.

Youth-led action is creating climate-resilient communities in Vangani.

Today marked the beginning of Muskan’s Chhat Shakti project, with 40 members of her youth group and friends coming together to participate in cool roof paint application activities. The enthusiasm and community spirit on display were truly inspiring.

As a recipient of the Habitat Youth Solutions Grant, Muskan is leading an initiative that will provide cool roof paint solutions to 10 homes, helping families experience improved thermal comfort during extreme heat. The project goes beyond housing improvements by training local women on the application and benefits of cool roof technology, enabling them to become advocates of the solution and explore future livelihood opportunities.

It was also encouraging to see the project generate interest beyond the community, with a local college inviting Muskan and the team to share their experience and speak about the initiative with students.

A powerful example of how young leaders are driving practical, community-led solutions to address the challenges of a changing climate.

A healthy environment is not just about the world around us, it is also about the spaces we call home.

When families have safe, adequate housing, they breathe cleaner air, stay protected from extreme weather and live healthier lives.

This World Environment Day, let us remember that caring for our planet and creating healthy homes go hand in hand.

Something powerful happens when a house becomes a home.

54 families in Rewari have stepped into safer spaces, with stronger futures and renewed hope through the partnership between and Habitat for Humanity India.

This transformation was made possible through Max Estates’ Estates 128 project in Noida, where the purchase of every four homes contributed toward supporting one home for a family in Rewari. What began as a housing initiative has now become a journey of greater security, dignity and hope for 54 families.

Stay tuned to know more about their journey.
