Religion to some, dream to others; fun to most -- sport is the medium to grow, touch, communicate & develop. We at ‘Subah’ have chosen sport and play to transcend social, cultural, economical, religious & gender limita

tions. offers them an opportunity to interact, play and learn through fair play. Simple sessions involving play help us to instill some very basic but important concepts in them, like teamwork, following of instructions, and taking on responsibility with commitment, apart from the physical benefits of hand-eye coordination, muscle & brain development. Every child has a unique interest, mood, talent, interpretation and level of understanding. Hence, versatile and resourceful activities are carefully planned to impact each child to expose him/her to a different life skill. It is not our endeavor to mold them into sportspersons: we leave that to their inner calling. We, at Subah, teach them the rules; we do not tell them how they should play; that is for them to discover and learn. Sport can affect a child’s development of self-worth. It is also within sport that peer status & acceptance is established and developed. With a fine balance of play and sport, we aim to help them grow, develop and hone their intra-personal and inter-personal skills. We make efforts to effectively use this potent tool to guide them in crafting their mettle, and to unravel, understand and better their own selves. We essay to help them comprehend the importance of discipline, the power of teamwork, and to augment their leadership skills. We believe that through play we will be able to shape and inspire lives.
