ces, regulates and modulates human emotion. It is the fabric of social consistency, morality and the foundation of social integrity. More importantly, music has the ability to transcend linguistic barriers. And it follows almost naturally, that it can a universally acceptable platform for effecting global change. It can ignite a fire in the hearts of men and plants the seeds of revolutions that can move governments and change societal perceptions. History will tell how music has broken down the Berlin wall, sustained the Civil Rights movement and instilled faith amongst hopeless in times of anarchy. Music, at it’s best, has always been a movement for a better people, a better society - a subtle cultural revolution for the greater good. When Music has always been about change, why not use it in a more channeled, organized manner? It was this realization that led to the birth of Rock For A Cause. Rock For A Cause is an attempt to quantify substantial social change through the medium of something so abstract, yet so effective – Music.
