Our Story

The founder of the nation, Mahatma Gandhi famously once said, "The future of India lies in its villages" Armed with this belief and a modest budget of Rs. 15 lakh, ACF began working with the rural community in Kodinar, Gujarat in 1993 to address the needs of 15 villages.

Today ACF works with over 1473 villages in 22 locations & 11 states across India, investing over Rs. 100 crores annually to create sustainable livelihoods for rural communities. With over 25 years of experience & 523 modest heroes working tirelessly each day, ACF is building this great nation at its roots.

The journey has had many a good Samaritan helping along the way, partners who have helped ACF touch many more rural lives. There is much more to be done and ACF is constantly on the lookout for partners who can multiply the impact of the work it does.

After all, a nation is to be built.
