Acid Survivors Saahas Foundation helped an acid attack victim, Deepika, for her daughter’s education. We’re able to do all of this only because of donors.

We are deeply grateful to every donor who stepped forward and support us. We request your continued help in the future, so we can keep reaching the victims who need it most.

Together, you and we can make this change happen.

Thank you.

Yesterday’s meeting was really good. Heartfelt thanks to all of the donors who meet our survivors and help them — this journey would be difficult without you. You don’t just give money; you give your time, you listen, you stand with us. That gives us courage.

*On behalf of the survivors, we just want to say:*
Thank you for trusting us. Because of you, we’ve been able to stand again. If we keep meeting people like you, we won’t give up.

*From the team, we also have a request:*
1. Please keep helping genuine survivors — your support changes their lives.
2. Verification is important — so that help reaches the right hands. We at Acid Survivors Saahas Foundation will fully support the verification process.
3. Keep meeting them — only when you meet survivors directly you will understand what their real needs are: sometimes rations, sometimes school fees, sometimes medical help, sometimes just someone to listen.

Your one step can mean someone’s entire life. We hope you continue to walk this journey with us.

Thank you.

After the PIL was filed in the Supreme Court, the victim received 1.5 lakh rupees, whereas the Maharashtra government had ordered a compensation of 10 lakhs. Why was only 1.5 lakhs given to the victims?

The blind acid victims should get more than 10 lakhs, but they're not even getting that. The compensation is often inadequate, considering their lifelong struggles.

Due to which all the victims always face injustice like this. The system often fails to deliver fair compensation and justice, leaving them to struggle.

We hope the government will help, as they're our only hope for justice and rights for survivors. We approach the government seeking fair treatment and compensation for them. In our opinion the acid victims must get at least 1 crore from the government....🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Her name is Archana, an acid survivor. This is her daughter whose entire year's school fees were paid by DaulatBi because she was struggling with kidney disease and was really troubled at that time. At such a time, the Acid Survivor Foundation helped her so much and gave her tremendous support. We are very thankful to all the donors who are helping our foundation.🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

An eye examination was conducted prior to the surgical procedure...🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

09/02/2026

Manoj had two surgeries so far through Acid Survivors Saahas Foundation, and one more is pending. Please pray for his successful surgery. The doctors are trying their best as well as the donors; now it's just a matter of faith. 🙏🏻 We Request to donors, please come forward and support ASSF. Many survivors' surgeries are pending, your help is crucial

This is Manoj Kumar who is an acid attack victim and a resident of Delhi. Today he is going to undergo surgery, for which he is admitted to the hospital. Please pray for him. And thank you so much to all the donors who are helping him through the Acid Survivor Saahas Foundation. We highly appreciate companies that think about acid victims like him, think about their surgery, and their children's education.

We request all donors and corporate companies to come forward like Minarini, which is adopting and supporting acid victims for which we are very thankful to them. You can also make a difference in the lives of these victims. The compensation given by the court is not enough for many acid victims, and the surgery costs are very high, ranging from lakhs to crores.

The hospital, Care Well Medical Center, is also supporting him by giving a concession. They are treating our acid victim very well. Please pray for Manoj's successful surgery and best outcome so he can move forward in life and live better.

Please come forward and support these victims. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Finally, an order for which the Acid Survivors Saahas Foundation team along with their lawyers worked super hard on this. If you're an acid attack survivor in India, please take this order copy and approach your nearest district legal authority or apply under the Manodhairya scheme for compensation. Hope you get your rightful compensation 💪.

This is an acid attack case from 1992. Even the FIR copy wasn't available. After 11 years, the Saahas Foundation worked tirelessly for her compensation. Finally, a lawyer came forward who thought it wasn't impossible to get compensation. She received ₹5 lakh compensation from the Supreme Court after we filed a PIL and our Lawyer's team supported us throughout 🙌.
😊 We're really grateful to our lawyers who helped us with PILs for our survivors' compensation. Our fight is ongoing, and many victims still haven't received compensation. We're doing our best to ensure they get their rights. 💪
😊 Hoping those survivors get their compensation ASAP 🙏.
