The Sound Space is an endeavor to take you on a journey of the phenomenal world of sound and healing. Be a part of www.thesoundspace.in

Founded by Kamakshi and Vishala Khurana, The Sound Space initially started off as an experiment to discern the various powers of sound and its influence on people. Explaining the concept to anyone was difficult. But between the two sisters, there wasn't much explaining to do. Kamakshi & Vishala were raised in a household where music was an integral part of their daily life. The dynamic sister duo

graduated with a distinction in psychology and completed Visharad in Indian Classical Music. This sublime confluence of music and psychology led to the conception of The Sound Space. To put it down simply, The Sound Space uses sound in all its capacities to heal. Needless to say, sound has been proven to have various qualities – from coordination and inspiration to healing. There are various categories which use these different aspects of sound through various mediums. For instance, in our module entitled 'Sound for Better Concentration', we have used the power of sound to enhance focus. The Sound Space has grown appreciable ever since with workshops and healing sessions to suit your requirement such as - Sound healing, Chakra alignment & awareness workshop, Sound workshop for students to improve concentration, Music appreciation workshops and much more.

Some things are kinda chic because they’re trendy.
Some are kinda chic because they’re worth doing.

Like starting a music school because you believe music should be part of how we learn, grow, listen and connect.

The Sound Space began with a love for music, and grew into a place where children, adults, beginners and musicians can all find their own rhythm.

Turns out, building a space for music is pretty chic too. 🎶

Working on warming up our vocal cords with our Pratham batch (3-5 years).
It’s so important to warm up your voice before you dive deep into singing. The Sargam helps up with just that. Alternating between highs and lows is like doing a nice stretch!

Last week, we have another edition of The Naad Collective. This time, featuring violinist Sandeep Thakur | Premium Violinist | Weddings | Corporate Events. It was truly so enjoyable to sing a lot to the melodious strings of this instrument.

This week, one of our former students, anyakdaftary dropped by with her tanpura, giving our little musicians a chance to see it up close, ask all their questions, and hear its beautiful sound fill the room.
There were curious faces, tiny hands reaching out, lots of “What’s that?” and even more “Can I try?” moments.
We love days like these because music is so much more than lessons—it’s stories, instruments, people, and experiences shared across generations.

If your child loves to explore, create, and discover music in a fun, hands-on environment, we’d love to have them at The Sound Space.
