We were delighted to be part of the exhibition at Dhirubhai Ambani International School, where the Indian Cancer Society showcased handmade bags prepared at our Rehabilitation Centre by cancer survivors and their families.

It was a special moment when Mr. Abhishek Bachchan visited our stall and supported the initiative by purchasing one of the bags. His gesture encourages our efforts to empower cancer survivors.

Empowering Primary Care for Early Cancer Detection.

The Indian Cancer Society, in collaboration with Onco Life Cancer Center, Satara, conducted a Medical Empowerment Program (MEP) on 29 January 2026, focusing on Cervical Cancer Awareness and Early Detection. The session engaged 40+ BAMS & BHMS General Practitioners and received a positive response.

We thank our expert panellists, the Moderator, and the Onco Life team for their support in making this program a success.

Together, we continue to empower primary care physicians for better cancer outcomes.

Under the ICS–HDFC Bank Parivartan integrated CSR programme Project Satark, we recently conducted Training of Trainers (ToT) sessions in Karad and Satara, bringing together 170+ Medical Officers and Community Health Officers for hands-on, interactive learning.

From here, a group of trained doctors will take this forward—training 1,400+ frontline community health workers across Satara, Jaoli, Patan and Karad, and supporting early detection through cancer screening camps in Satara.

Because timely knowledge, closer to communities, can save lives.
