Technology-led progress is often spoken about through the lens of scale, infrastructure and advanced systems. Sameer Misra’s journey adds another layer to that conversation — access.
As an SBI Youth for India Alumnus, Sameer’s work has continued to grow at the intersection of STEM education, access and grassroots innovation. The Fellowship became the starting point for a direction he continued to build through NavKaushal, making practical, innovation-led learning more accessible for children from underserved communities.
As NavKaushal’s work grew, so did the recognition around it. From NITI Aayog’s appreciation for Atal Tinkering Lab efforts and a UNESCO MGIEP feature, to SME 30 Under 30 recognition, each milestone added visibility to a model rooted in access and learning.
One of the strongest reflections of its impact came from the students themselves, including a student-led innovation recognised under INSPIRE Awards – MANAK.
Most recently, NavKaushal represented India at TechFest Vietnam 2025 through the Startup Flight Program, securing Runner-up in the EdTech category and ranking 4th overall.
Sameer’s journey reflects what long-term impact can look like when field exposure does not end as an experience, but continues to shape the work one chooses to build.
