Inner Wheel Club of Mulund Installation 2026โ€“27

Mumbai, July 10: The Inner Wheel Club of Mulund, District 314, held its Installation Ceremony at Hotel Tip Top Plaza, Thane, where Sharda Lala was installed as President for the Inner Wheel year 2026โ€“27.

The ceremony was graced by Past District Chairman Prerana Raichur as the Chief Guest and Rtn. Nutan Dhulla, President of the Rotary Club of Mulund, as the Guest of Honour.

The newly installed team comprises Vice President PP Shamla Mokashi, Immediate Past President Kamaljit Kaur Sachdev, Club Secretary Tara Malde, Club Treasurer Savita Jain, Club Correspondence Reeta Dave, and Executive Team members PP Maya Prabhu, PP Seema Joshi, PP Jagruti Parekh, Rajul Shah, Harsha Zaveri, Smita Saxena, and PRO Ansuya Shah.

In her acceptance address, President Sharda Lala shared her vision for the year, reaffirming her commitment to community service, women's empowerment, health, education, environmental initiatives, and fellowship in line with the International Inner Wheel theme "Grow & Flourish" and the District 314 theme "Yagya."

The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks and a renewed commitment to the ideals of friendship and selfless service.

I am truly grateful to begin my journey as President of the Inner Wheel Club of Mulund with two impactful service projects on the very first day of the new Inner Wheel year.

Our first initiative, the Association Project โ€“ Jeevan Dhara, was dedicated to supporting dialysis patients. With the blessings of Sai Baba and under the guidance of our Project Chairman PDC Dr. Kanak Saxena, our club proudly sponsored dialysis treatment for 20 patients.

The project was attended by PP Indu Saxena, PP Rashmi Bhatnagar, and me. My heartfelt gratitude to all our generous donors whose support made this noble initiative possible.

Our second project focused on education, where we distributed 1,200 books to 300 children (4 books per child) at Vikramgad Madhyamik Ashramshala. Every book is a step towards empowering young minds and creating brighter futures.

These two projects reflect the values that will guide our yearโ€”service with compassion, commitment, and purpose.

A sincere thank you to every donor, volunteer, and member who contributed to making this wonderful beginning possible. Together, we will continue to make a meaningful difference in our community.
