Sakshi is from Worli, and one of our Ra kids.
Before she left for residential, we visited her at home — and she told us about the responsibility she’d been given at her previous school: looking after her classmates, keeping the peace, making sure everyone felt happy and included.
She wasn’t just one of the group. She was the one holding it together.
Isn’t it amazing how a first-generation learner, given the simplest opportunity, steps up to the task? They learn a new language. They take on roles far beyond their years. They carry an impressive maturity and drive. Sakshi is now thriving at her residential school in Panchgani, and we’re proud to walk this journey with her.
