Skill development classes matter because they build real-life abilities that academics alone do not always teach them about confidence, discipline, teamwork, communication, creativity and resilience. They support a child’s physical, emotional, social and cognitive growth not just their “hobby” value.

It is deeply unfortunate that these opportunities are still neglected in many rural villages. Team Nabhangan Foundation will keep continuing our efforts to make sure every child gets the chance to learn, grow and discover their potential.

Vasantnagar is waiting for rain.But we are not waiting to act.🤞🥹✊

This is our 6th year working in Beed’s drought-prone landscape. This monsoon has been kinder to our hopes than to our fields. Rainfall is low. The stream we are reviving is still learning to hold water. Yet in every trench, every check dam, every sapling, there is a promise that water will return, life will follow.
Our farmers grow sugarcane, along with Cotton, Groundnut, Jowar, Harbhara and more crops that depend on every drop. When the stream flows stronger, their fields breathe easier. When the soil holds moisture, their children eat better. Mulberry is on hold this season. But our resolve is not.

This work is being carried out by our team Nabhangan Foundation with support from dcb_bank gaurav Wilma DCunha | Travel🛤️Lifestyle 👗 under the guidance of Dr. Sumant Pandey and through the relentless hard work of the farmers of Vasantnagar.

Team feels truly honored and deeply grateful to our water mentor sir on receiving the prestigious Water Warrior Award. His guidance has been a source of strength, hope and direction for our journey in the drought-prone villages of Marathwada, where every effort toward water security means a better future for countless lives.
We also offer our heartfelt congratulations to all the warriors across the region who have been recognized with this esteemed award. Late Vasantrao Naik sir’s legacy continues to inspire us and we remain committed to walking his path of service, resilience, and for a greener and more compassionate India.

We were honored to have the keynote address by environmental expert Shri Uday Devalankar sir.

He clearly outlined the growing impacts of climate change on rural ecosystems and agricultural practices and identified priority areas for future development efforts, creating climate-adapted villages, restoring ecological balance, improving and systematizing groundwater recharge, conserving local biodiversity, promoting sustainable, water-efficient farming practices and enhancing community preparedness for climate-related risks.

He emphasized that “climate resilience” must become a central, guiding principle in village development planning rather than a peripheral consideration.

पर्यावरण तज्ज्ञ श्री. उदय देवळाणकर यांनी आपल्या बीजभाषणात ग्रामीण परिसंस्था (Ecosystems) आणि शेती पद्धतींवर हवामान बदलाच्या वाढत्या प्रभावांवर प्रकाश टाकला.

त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले की भविष्यातील विकास प्रयत्नांनी खालील प्रमुख गोष्टींवर लक्ष केंद्रित केले पाहिजे:

* हवामान-अनुकूल गावांची निर्मिती करणे.

* पर्यावरणीय समतोल पुनर्संचयित करणे.

* भूजल पुनर्भरण सुधारणे.

Under his guidance, our team has grown stronger, more united and more determined to make a difference.
