EdelGive Foundation Change takes strategy and consistency. We partner grassroots NGOs that know local realities and connect them with resource givers.

Over 17 years, we have influenced ₹1300 Cr, supporting ~300 NGOs across 167 districts. We believe in EdelGive Foundation is a grant-making organisation, working towards expanding the ecosystem of philanthropy in India by funding and supporting high-calibre, small to mid-sized organisations working towards empowering children through education, women through social and economic em

powerment and vulnerable communities through resilient livelihoods. Our unique philanthropic model places at the centre of grant-making by providing the initial grants and by managing funding from other institutional and corporate partners, at zero cost. Our grants are used for both financial and non-financial needs of the organisations we support. Apart from adding capacities and scale, grants are used to build operating capabilities of these organisations. EdelGive Foundation believes that impact should be targeted and exponential in nature. Every contribution of EdelGive, pooled with contributions of other large organisations, and supported by capacity building, should yield asymmetric impact for our organisations.

Community engagement in education is often treated as a soft outcome, one that's easy to deprioritize. CTE took a different view.

By building structured, recurring forums like SMC meetings, Education Gram Sabhas, and Parent Academic Reviews, the program created conditions where parent participation wasn't dependent on individual motivation. It was built into how the system operated. And when participation is structural, it outlasts any single program.

What that produced was accountability that ran in multiple directions. Teachers became more responsive. Local governments began treating schools as a development priority. And parents, many of whom had quietly lost faith in the system, found a reason to re-engage, not just for their own children, but for the school and community as a whole.

The 54,000+ community-led action items that emerged from these forums weren't a metric. They were proof that when communities are given real agency, they use it.

CTE's approach to teacher development was built on a simple conviction, that confidence, peer structures, and the right tools matter as much as content. Through Shikshan Parishads, classroom coaching, SCERT-integrated modules, and data systems that helped teachers understand each child's learning journey, the program created conditions for teachers to lead change from inside their own classrooms.

What shifted over time was ownership. Teachers who once conducted activities without fully understanding their purpose began planning lessons around learning outcomes, tracking individual progress, and drawing parents into the process. The classroom became a space of reflection, not just instruction.

And when that happens across 17 districts, 167 blocks, and 7,34,741 teachers, the system gains something more durable than improvement. It gains the capacity to keep improving itself.

Water sources are often the first to face the brunt of climate change. And its absence ripples into everything - food, sanitation, livelihoods, dignity. For communities already living on the margins, a lake that dries up also dries up their land and their main source of income.

Lake Eri Kere in Sangadevarkoppa had stopped sustaining the village it once served. Manuvikasa worked with the community to change that through Gram Sabha meetings, collective decision-making, and the rejuvenation of the lake itself. Completed in 2022 the lake was restored with the excavation and redistribution of 2,395 loads of silt to farmers' fields.

Our CRCA portfolio focuses on exactly this kind of work - the deliberate, unglamorous, community-led work of restoring natural resources and rebuilding livelihoods from the ground up, proving that resilience isn't something that arrives from the outside. It is built from within.

This is spring. The season of intentional hope.
