Shiamak Davar founded VICTORY Arts Foundation in 2004 to address the lack of access to dance for the lesser privileged and those with special needs. VICTORY makes dance available across age, gender, caste, class and ability; without prejudice. It provides a platform to address social c
auses and concerns, and makes dance a viable & respected career option. Through its various programs, VICTORY has made dance acceptable and made people understand its power to educate, entertain, empower, enlighten and enable. VICTORY has touched the lives of over 300+ NGOs/Institutions across 13 India and also in Canada and UK. Bringing a smile on their faces and adding a bounce in their stride, VICTORY takes the mission of Have Feet, Will Dance, one step further. Dance has the power to heal. The philosophy behind VICTORY is to-

• Empower them with the ability to learn and earn
• Enlighten them with knowledge for the body, mind and soul
• Enable them to spread the joy of dance
Donations are utilized to provide dance programs (classes and performance events) to the underprivileged, physically and mentally challenged, visually impaired and all such children and adults. VICTORY uses the power of dance and performing arts to light a spark of joy in their hearts, improve their self-esteem. VICTORY also provides medical and educational support to the poor and needy, in addition to this VICTORY supports outstanding talent in performing arts and sports. The Trustees include Mr. Shiamak Davar (Founder), Mrs. Puran Davar, Mr. Glen D’Mello CEO of Shiamak Davar’s International (India) Pvt. and Ms. Mahazarin Canteenwalla General Manager for Shiamak Davar’s International (India) Pvt. Through VICTORY funded programs, Shiamak and his instructors continue to empower these children with confidence and belief in themselves. Shiamak’s VICTORY Arts Foundation has become a part of the children’s lives and has brought them immense joy and confidence through the power of dance.
