What if one skill could save a life?

Technical skills build careers—but safety skills save lives.

Grey Sim Learnings Foundation, with the support of Infosys Foundation, conducted a Safety Drill at ITI Suklai, Tamulpur, Assam, in collaboration with the Civil Defence Department, Kamrup (M). Students received practical training in fire safety, emergency evacuation, first aid, rescue techniques, and disaster preparedness through hands-on demonstrations.

By combining Skill Development with Emergency Response training, we're preparing young professionals to be confident, responsible, and ready for real-world challenges.

💬 Do you think fire safety and first-aid training should be compulsory in every ITI and vocational institution? Tell us in the comments!

Behind every successful placement is a candidate who was prepared to believe in themselves.

Grey Sim Learnings Foundation conducted a Pre-Interview Guidance & Orientation Session for candidates from our combined EV Upskilling batches in Huru and Balrampur.

The session covered career opportunities in the EV industry, interview preparation, professional communication, and assessment guidance—equipping candidates with the confidence to take the next step toward meaningful employment.

Every question asked reflected ambition. Every interaction reinforced our belief that skilling is about more than technical training—it's about building careers and transforming lives.

What's the one skill you believe matters most in an interview: technical knowledge, confidence, or communication? Share your thoughts below.

Balancing Mind, Body, and Growth!

On International Yoga Day (June 21), our training center came together to embrace the transformative power of wellness. Under the expert guidance of our yoga instructor, Ms. Simran, 30 enthusiastic participants learned the art of mindfulness and rejuvenation.

We were honored to have Mr. Satish Joshi (Voltas Volunteer) join the session. Following the practice, Mr. Joshi shared inspiring insights with our students on building a healthy lifestyle, aligning perfectly with this year's global theme: "Yoga for Healthy Ageing."

Investing in health today paves the way for sustainable growth tomorrow. Here’s a glimpse into our morning of wellness!

Stress is Chronic and Addictions are commonplace, it is critical our primary stakeholder youth remains protected.

In this endeavour, A Drug Prevention Awareness and Stress Management Programme was successfully conducted at Government ITI, Checknaurani, Madurai, reaching 82 participants, with the support of FPAI and HCL Foundation.

The programme was designed to address two critical challenges faced by today's youth—substance abuse and mental well-being—while equipping students with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed life decisions.

The session began with an inspiring address by ITI Principal, who emphasized the importance of leading a healthy, disciplined, and drug-free life while focusing on personal and professional growth.

We were privileged to have Mr. Ganesan and Ms. Kameshwari, Counsellor from the Family Planning Association of India (FPAI), Madurai, as resource persons for the programme.

What made the programme truly impactful was the active participation of students, who engaged in meaningful discussions and reflected on the importance of safeguarding both their physical and mental health.

In a rapidly changing world, empowering young minds with the ability to say "No" to harmful substances and "Yes" to mental well-being is one of the most valuable investments we can make for the future.

What do you believe is the most effective way educational institutions can support students' mental health and well-being? Share your thoughts in the comments.

Exciting News: Empowering Next-Gen EV Talent!

We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for an Apprenticeship Program with Big Bull Trader Private Limited (Bigbull E-Rickshaw)!

Based out of Kolkata, Bigbull has been a trailblazer in the green mobility space since 2009. They are premier manufacturers of ICAT-approved electric rickshaws, e-scooters, and e-loaders.

What makes this partnership incredibly special is their dedication to true localization—producing vehicles with 90% indigenous parts perfectly tailored for both urban and rugged rural terrains.

Why this matters:

Through this collaborative apprenticeship, our candidates won't just learn about the EV sector; they will gain hands-on, practical experience directly at the heart of highly localized, state-of-the-art green manufacturing.

We are proud to bridge the gap between classroom learning and industrial ex*****on, helping build a skilled workforce for India’s sustainable future.

A huge thank you to the leadership team at Bigbull E-Rickshaw for sharing this vision with us. Let’s drive the future of green mobility together!
