Yes, you read that right. Children from our partner BMC schools recently met Sir , UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, and the moment was bigger than a celebrity interaction. It was a leadership moment led by children, owned by children, and spoken by children.
For over 10 years, CACR has worked alongside Municipal Corporation Of Greater Mumbai (Mcgm) schools not to substitute public services, but to strengthen them, ensuring systems work better for children rather than parallel to them.
Our approach has always been simple: empower the ecosystem so every child can build the future they deserve.
On 27th November in Mumbai, at a special program attended by an
UNICEF team and Sir David, our young health and environment ambassadors stood confidently and shared their experiences.
They presented their work, their challenges, and their solutions with clarity, confidence, and pride.
We witnessed what real leadership looks like when it begins early, when courage is nurtured, and when young people are trusted to represent themselves. Their voices reflected ownership of their future, not because we taught them what to say, but because we gave them space to believe that their future already belongs to them.
This moment was an important milestone for us because transformation was measured not by our words, but theirs. Leadership is never just about speaking, it is about being heard, and these children ensured both.
When young leaders rise, communities change. When systems invest in them, nations grow. And when the world listens, the future becomes wiser, stronger, and kinder.
