be, Dialogue in the Dark offers two immersive entertainment experiences — Taste of Darkness and The Exhibition Tour — that are built around the idea of offering a glimpse of life around us without the sense of sight. Darkness is used as an educational tool to help people deal with familiar situations and everyday activities with a new perspective — one where the other four senses come alive. Visitors are led by Tour Guides into specially designed dark rooms that uses only sounds, smells, textures and tastes to convey the environment, be it a park, a city, a boat cruise or a bar. For the gourmets, our Dining Guides serve a surprise four course meal in total darkness that challenges your taste buds and table manners. Dining by completely relying on the other four senses result in a never-before experience where you are immersed in the feel, smell and taste of your meal. Apart from the two experiences, Dialogue in the Dark also aims to include people with disabilities into society by sensitizing the people on the abilities of the disabled. The sensitization helps the society to accept those with disabilities as job-worthy and opens people up to the idea of hiring them in their organization’s workforce. What happens when leaders step into COMPLETE DARKNESS? 🌑

We recently had the privilege to guide the Uno Minda leadership team through our Dialogue in the Dark Leadership Un-learning workshop that was curated in pitch darkness and we are pleased to share some insights from the same.

Without sight, titles fade away... what’s left is TRUST, VULNERABILITY, and real HUMAN CONNECTION.

We witnessed leaders:
💡 Listening with empathy instead of just being sure of themselves
💡 Making space for every voice, because every perspective counts
💡 Leading with TRUST, not just their position

And as they navigated this experience, many reflected on how change truly unfolds;
✔️ It begins by stepping into the unknown with courage.
✔️ It requires replacing control with trust.
✔️ It demands listening before leading.
✔️ It moves forward not in giant leaps, but in small, steady steps.
✔️ It succeeds when every voice is not just heard but valued.

The workshop was a strong reminder that Empathy & inclusion aren’t just “nice-to-haves”, they’re the skills that spark real TRANSFORMATION.

Big thanks to for embracing the unknown with such openness and lighting up new ways to lead! 🙌

150 Women. One Powerful Experience.

Dialogue in the Dark hosted its flagship DEI education experience for FLO and YFLO Ahmedabad Chapter, bringing together 150+ women entrepreneurs.

As these dynamic leaders stepped into the darkness, they stepped out of their comfort zones, challenging social biases and embracing inclusion beyond the checklist.

What followed was a deeply engaging exchange as participants connected with our visually impaired trainers and explored how they could become enablers of inclusion in their own spheres of influence.

To the incredible women of & , thank you for showing up with open hearts and minds.

A Gratifying End to the Financial Year!

We had the privilege of hosting a leadership development centric workshop for the incredible team at TATA Motors—but with a twist. The session took place in complete darkness, challenging participants to navigate uncertainty, lean into trust, and embrace collaboration in ways they never had before.

In an environment devoid of sight, leadership took on a new meaning. The workshop illuminated key lessons such as:

🔹 Trust and collaboration are essential in uncertain times.
🔹 Mindfulness and clear communication are non-negotiable.
🔹 Vulnerability in leadership is often underrated.
🔹 Growth comes from stepping outside comfort zones and taking risks.
🔹 And above all, empathy is the foundation of true leadership.

Beyond leadership insights, the experience also gave participants a profound perspective on life with visual impairment—helping them shift from seeing disability as a limitation to recognizing the incredible abilities of those who navigate the world differently.

The reflections and takeaways from this session were powerful, and we’re grateful to have facilitated such an eye-opening experience. We sincerely thank the HR leadership for making this collaboration possible and last but not the least, we thank SBI Foundation for being our pillar of strength in all our impactful endeavors in the country.

What happens when you remove sight from the equation?
You uncover new dimensions of trust, communication, and decision-making.

We recently had the privilege of hosting an immersive leadership centric workshop for Fractal India and It was an enriching experience, offering participants a space to step away from the familiar and engage in deep reflection. Through the immersive medium of darkness, the session highlighted;
✔️ the importance of mindful navigation through unconscious biases and self-limiting inhibitions during decision making.
✔️ the need for strategic pauses (especially, when faced with ambiguity).
✔️ the role of empathy & compassion in creating an inclusive culture in today’s fast-paced corporate world.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful participants for their openness and reflections, and to our trainers, who continue to inspire with their passion and wisdom. Moments like these reinforce the power of experiential learning in shaping perspectives and advancing dialogue on inclusion.

Looking forward to many more such thought-provoking sessions!

It was a pleasure to host the leaders and team members across verticals from .cement for an immersive team-building workshop at our very own Mumbai Experience Center. This unique session was not just about collaboration—it was an exploration of empathy, mindful listening and shared success in an environment that challenged conventional perceptions.

One of the most profound realizations during the experience was that vulnerability is not a weakness, it is a STRENGTH. Participants discovered that embracing vulnerability allowed them to seek support at the right moments, ultimately leading to more effective teamwork and task completion.

Many also found that the absence of visual judgment in complete darkness created a safe space for open expression, allowing them to communicate more freely than they typically would - leading to better bonding. The experience further encouraged individuals to break away from routine problem-solving approaches, using the pitch dark setting as an opportunity to think differently and innovate beyond their usual perspectives.

At Dialogue in the Dark, we continue to witness how stepping out of one’s comfort zone can lead to deeper insights and stronger connections. It was inspiring to see the UltraTech Cement team embrace this journey with openness and enthusiasm!

We had the privilege of hosting Coffee in the Dark, our flagship disability inclusion sensitisation program, for the incredible R&D team at ITC Limited.

The session was an immersive experience in complete darkness that emphasized on the potential of the other four sensory capabilities and how they shape our interactions with physical objects (products) and spaces, both consciously and subconsciously.

Through the challenging sensory simulations of the session, participants gained a first-hand understanding of the nuances in mobility for individuals with visual impairment and broadened their perspective on accessibility/inclusive design.

The program also concluded with a resounding commitment of mainstreaming persons with disabilities into the workplace and diversifying the talent pool. Participants concurred that this not only unlocks untapped potential but also broadens the horizon of ideas and innovative solutions.

We are super happy to have collaborated with Entrepreneurs' Organization - Northeast India Chapter to present a one-of-a-kind sensory experience to their esteemed members to raise awareness on the abilities of Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) and the need for disability inclusion across the corporate spectrum. While reflecting on the experience, we were able to open up a meaningful dialogue on:

🔸️ Busting myths/stigma associated with disability, especially behavioral barriers.
🔸️ Understanding the role of physical and digital accessibility in workplace.
🔸️ Creating inclusive HR policies and accommodations to ensure sustained PwD hiring.
🔸️ Creating an unbiased feedback & redressal mechanism in order to avoid & mitigate discrimination and stereotypical behavior at workplace.
🔸️ Most importantly, recognising the need for sensitisation from time to time to embed DEI in the DNA of the organisation.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the leadership of the chapter and the organisers for making this collaboration possible and impactful.
