A proud moment for Team Seacoast!

We’ve just launched the new and improved edition of Tidewatch our club’s quarterly bulletin that captures the heart and happenings of the Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast.

Under the leadership of President Sunil Devnani and Editor SaSampath K Iyengare reimagined the magazine from scratch
keeping readability, Rotary branding, and member engagement at its core.

The new Tidewatch features:
✨ Member interviews and profiles in “Know Your Rotarian”
✨ A nostalgic look at projects by past presidents
✨ Updates from our Interact and Inner Wheel clubs
✨ Stories of new members and ongoing initiatives

We’ve also taken it digital! The bulletin is now available as an interactive flipbook on our website, thanks to a custom plugin that makes it easy to browse and share.

And yes, the cherry on the cake was having the issue released by DG Dr. Manish Motwani at our Rotary Diwali Get-together

This edition is dedicated to the late Rajan Raman of Dattaram Advertising, whose creativity and commitment inspired generations of Seacoasters.

🎙️ Guest Speaker Spotlight – Dr. Makrand Wagh
Ex-Cop | Cyber Crime & Safety Expert

Last Thursday Seacoast was privileged to host Dr. Makrand Wagh, who gave us a gripping and eye-opening session on cyber crime and online safety. F

rom frauds where money is siphoned off to lessons from his involvement in high-profile cases—including the Sushant Singh Rajput investigation—Dr. Wagh’s insights were truly invaluable.

The discussions with Dr. Wagh continued late into the night, with spine-tingling tales that left everyone both wiser and more alert in today’s digital world.

Special thanks to:

Vinod Jolly & Ann Meeraji – for graciously sponsoring the Happy Hours

Sampath K Iyengar – for capturing wonderful moments through your lens

Kapeel L – for bringing us our distinguished guest speaker

Another memorable evening of learning, fellowship, and Rotary spirit !

✨ Honoring Our Nation’s Heroes ✨

Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast, under the leadership of President Sunil Devnani, proudly presented eight electric wheelchairs to paraplegic jawans in partnership with QMTI.

This initiative was made possible thanks to the generosity of Sudhir Agarwal, Jailal Mulchand Shani, and the Pushp Hari Foundation. A special note of gratitude to Frido for donating one of the wheelchairs.

We also deeply appreciate the tireless efforts of Vijay Mirchandani, PP Ankush Jain, and Harish Shani in making this project a reality.

These wheelchairs are more than just mobility devices — they are symbols of dignity, independence, and respect for those who have sacrificed so much for our nation. 🇮🇳

We’re thrilled to share the success of the Second Session of Heartbeats and Headspace, an initiative by the Rotary Club of Bombay Seacoast and the Rotaract Club of Lotus College of Optometry, in collaboration with 15+ Rotaract Clubs of RID 3141.
