World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES), an initiative by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) under the Leadership of Honยด Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and industry stalwarts such as Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, SS Rajamouli, Deepika Padukone, Shekhar Khapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and many others. The event is a first of its kind initiative to discuss the Business side of Media and Entertainment sector and saw large conglomerates as well as startups and individual content creators come together on one platform with an aim to boost the Indian Media & Entertainment business globally

Cabil Club represented by our Founder Mustafa Harneswala had the opportunity to address the media at a ๐—ฃ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€ ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ณ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ฐ๐—ฒ along with Ashutosh Mohle (Ministry of Information and Broadcasting), Sandeep Jhingran (Internet and Mobile Association of India) and Rajesh Joshi (Warmup Ventures)

The Highlights of the Press Conference were
- Positive investor sentiments towards Media & Entertainment sector, specially media-tech
- Latest innovations in media-tech that startups are developing. Most of these are never seen before innovations that have a global potential
- Cabil Club to develop an Angel Network for Media & Entertainment sector and also through its Pan India Network of Finance & Tax professionals, we will work towards, mentoring, hand-holding, educating and incubating media & entertainment businesses across cities, towns and villages across India

As part of the CABIL Dubai Business Tour, our delegation had the privilege to visit the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) โ€” the regionโ€™s leading financial hub and a melting pot of ๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐œ๐ž, ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ก ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฎ๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ.

We were guided through an insightful session by Ms. ้ƒญๆ™“ๆ™ฐ (Xiaoxi Guo) - Business Development, Head of Professional Service Providers, China Regional Representative โ€“ DIFC Authority, who shared how DIFC is shaping the future of finance by bridging regulatory clarity, investor trust, and global accessibility.

A standout takeaway was the growing relevance of DIFCโ€™s Family Foundation structure, offering robust solutions for wealth preservation, succession planning, and philanthropy โ€” now increasingly leveraged by both traditional financial institutions and emerging fintech players alike.

From banks and investment firms to startups and family offices, DIFC continues to lead with a progressive vision that balances opportunity with governance.

We kicked off the Dubai Business Tour 2025 with an energetic and purpose-driven ice-breaker session led by the incredible CA Abhishek Bhavsar. Through interactive activities and meaningful reflections, our delegates began to uncover their goals and aspirations for this journey โ€” both personally and professionally.

The session was further enriched by the presence of our mentors โ€” CA Hozefa from Brooks Consultancy and Ms. Ajab Ali, a distinguished Marketing & Business Development Specialist, whose insights added depth and direction to the discussions.
