Centre for Child Development 'The Society for rehabilitation of crippled children' (SRCC) has been operational since 1950. The hospital will be managed by Narayan Health.

In 1950, the Society was granted lease of land at Haji Ali and 'The Children s Orthopedic Hospital' was started to provide medical and rehabilitation facilities. The Centre for child development today, is an independent unit and provides various therapies such as Physical,Occupational, speech and remedial education. The motto of the Society is ;no child should go without treatment for want of mone

y'. The construction of a Children s Hospital is underway as part of the expansion project of the Centre. Expected to open in November 2016, the hospital is dedicated to treating children from across the world.
