Today, we visited St. Jude India ChildCare Centres in Parel once again—and as always, it was an experience that stays with you.

We took a small hamper for each child and, on behalf of AuroMira Care Foundation, donated a keyboard piano. What followed was truly special—Arvin spent time teaching them a few notes, and very quickly, the room filled with music, laughter, and excitement. 🎶

It was wonderful to see the joy on the children’s faces—and just as heartening to see the adults join in with equal enthusiasm. For that time, it was simply about music and being present in the moment.

What always leaves me reassured is the spirit of these children and their families. Despite everything they are going through, they continue to smile, play, and find joy in the little things.

Kudos to the incredible team at St. Jude for the work they do every day, creating such a supportive and nurturing environment for these families.

We were only a small part of their day—but for us, it was truly a privilege to be there. 💛

Every time we are travelling on the roads in Mumbai, we come across people who ask for help—from outside our cars, at signals, in traffic.

Most of the time, we look away.

Sometimes out of doubt—
Are they genuine? Are we encouraging the wrong system?

But very often… if I’m being honest… it is just apathy.
We are busy. On our phones. In our own world.

Lately, I’ve been thinking about this more.

And more than me, Arvin has been noticing it.
He feels uncomfortable when we ignore someone asking for help.

So we decided to do something small.

We now keep basic food kits and small art kits in the car.
Nothing fancy. Just essentials.

Food kits (~₹500)
Art kits (~₹150)

For 2 food kits + 2 art kits, it cost us around ₹1300.

That’s about the cost of a movie ticket for a few hours of entertainment.

But the same amount can:

help feed a family for a few days
and maybe… just maybe… inspire a child to be an artist someday

This is not about “doing anyone a favour.”
And it’s definitely not a solution to a larger problem.

It’s just a small shift—from ignoring… to acknowledging.

And sometimes, that’s a good place to begin.

If even a few of us start doing something small, it may just make these everyday moments a little more humane.

It took hardly any time at all before the children had made friends with Arvin, and just like that, a game of cricket had begun. Laughter and playful chatter quickly filled the space.

Being able to share joy is one of the greatest blessings we have as human beings. To connect with one another and share meaningful moments together is among the most gratifying feelings of all.

It was our privilege to spend some time today with the wonderful children staying at St. Jude’s Child Care Centre while they undergo treatment for cancer. Despite the challenges they are facing, their smiles, laughter, and boundless energy were truly uplifting.

As I reflect on the visit, I am reminded that while we may not have control over many things happening in the world, even a small act of kindness can go a long way in making it a better place.

And of course, children will be children — they have an extraordinary ability to find happiness in any circumstance. That spirit is deeply inspiring.

A special word of appreciation for St.Jude India ChildCare Centre- the centre was spotless, and the staff incredibly dedicated. Heartfelt thanks to them for allowing us to be a small part of their beautiful work today.

If there is one thing these children reminded us today, it is this: joy is not the absence of difficulty — it is the ability to smile despite it.

Sometimes change does not begin with something grand.
It begins with something basic.

Through AuroMira Care Foundation, we recently donated a blackboard, a wall clock, and essential classroom materials to Sona Sarovar Trust.

A blackboard creates structure in learning.
A clock builds discipline and time awareness.
Basic classroom supplies make daily teaching smoother and more effective.

These may seem like small additions — but in a classroom, small things can shape habits, focus, and confidence.

Meaningful change often begins with strengthening the fundamentals.

Grateful to be able to contribute, in however small a way.

A small act. A very big difference.

AuroMira Care Foundation recently donated 300 diapers to a child care home that lovingly cares for infants under one year of age.

For these little ones, comfort is not a luxury — it is a necessity. Something as basic as clean diapers ensures hygiene, prevents infections, and allows caregivers to focus on nurturing rather than worrying about daily essentials.

When we support early childhood needs, we support dignity, health, and development.

Thank you to everyone who continues to believe that meaningful change often begins with meeting the most fundamental needs.

13th Deworming Drive | AuroMira Care Foundation

Last week, AuroMira Care Foundation completed its 13th deworming drive — reaching 90 children in the Oshiwara slum community, in collaboration with Sona Sarovar Trust.

In many underserved areas, intestinal worm infections are common but often silent. They can affect:

• Growth and weight gain
• Energy levels
• Hemoglobin levels
• Concentration and school performance

A small tablet.
A simple intervention.
But meaningful impact on a child’s health and future.

Grateful to our partners at Sona Sarovar Trust and to everyone who helps us continue this steady, ongoing work.

Preventive care matters.
And consistency makes the difference.

🌟 Every Dream Deserves a Chance 🌟

At AuroMira Care Foundation, along with Dr. Siddharth Rao, we recently had the opportunity to support the education of a bright young student from Secunderabad.

Coming from a single-parent home, this child wrote to us about his love for Mathematics and his dream of becoming a Chartered Accountant someday. His words were simple yet filled with hope — a reminder that every dream begins with a spark, and all it needs is a little support to keep burning bright.

Education is not just about books and exams. It’s about giving children the courage to imagine a better tomorrow — to believe that their circumstances do not define their destiny.

Let’s keep nurturing these sparks. One child at a time, one dream at a time. 💙

Every year, we begin Arvin’s birthday with a small celebration at the Sona Sarovar Trust, spending time with the children there. Over the years, it has become more than a tradition—it’s our way of reminding ourselves that birthdays are not just about receiving, but also about giving.

This year even before we could begin planning, Arvin was the one who asked, “What are we taking for the kids?” In that moment, I realized that he wasn’t just looking forward to his own day—he was thinking about how to share it with others.

As parents, we often wonder how much our children truly absorb from the values we try to live by. And then, in moments like these, we see kindness quietly taking root. These are the little signs that empathy is becoming second nature to them, that they are beginning to understand the joy that comes from giving.

We believe it’s so important to instill these principles early on—to show children that happiness grows when it is shared and that helping others is not something “extra,” but a way of life. We hope that someday, these small lessons will shape them into adults who carry compassion wherever they go.
